We've all heard about miracles. Some of them are explainable, others are difficult or even on the verge of mysticism. One such miracle happened in 1980, when a girl named Jean Hilliard was completely frozen, but miraculously revived. The doctors, it seems, could not explain anything, but the fact was recorded as official.
Lengby, Minnesota: On December 20, 1980, 19-year-old Jean's car flew off an icy road and fell into a ditch. The girl was driving home from the guests.
When this happened, the temperature was 6 degrees below zero. Jean drove to her home, but lost control on the icy road, and the car fell into a ditch. The girl herself remained completely unharmed.
Jean got out of the car and walked down the gravel road to call for help.
Instead of staying in the car and risking freezing in it, Jean decided to go to the house of friends who lived nearby. However, the weather was frosty (-6 Celsius), and the distance was quite long. The girl walked against the wind, and her legs instantly froze.
Jin fainted after walking over 3 km in the snow.

According to her, she saw the driveway to the house of friends and suddenly fell due to extreme fatigue. It was about one in the morning, and she no longer had the strength to go further.
Jean lay in the snow for about 6 hours, and the girl's body was completely frozen. At 7 in the morning, her friend went outside and saw Jin frozen over. He thought that the girl was dead, as her face looked scary, like a ghost from a movie.
Jean was taken to the City Hospital at about 8 am, but the doctors did not know how to save her. The frozen body did not respond to any form of medical attention.
According to doctors, she breathed very slowly - only 8 heart beats per minute. It was even impossible for her to put a thermometer on, since she was actually a solid piece of ice. None of her joints moved, her skin was not pierced with a needle, and her eyes did not react to light. There seemed to be no hope for life. The doctors simply covered Jin with warm bags to raise her body temperature.
It was about one in the afternoon when Jean started making sounds and asked for water. She came back to life after her mother held her hand for a long time and prayed.
By nightfall, she could move her arms slightly. On the third day, her legs moved too. Interestingly, no amputation was required, although the doctors were confident that it was inevitable. The girl spent 6 days in intensive care and was transferred to the general ward.
Jean was discharged from the hospital 49 days later and she was as good as new!
It's really strange, but after 49 days, she left the hospital without any damage to her health. Her condition was perfect. How this is possible remains a mystery.
