The ancient Italian city for 2000 years of history was the place where mystics and alchemists aspired to get, as it is located at the intersection of white and black energy. In Turin there are gates to hell, phantoms roam the streets and the embodiment of evil is imprisoned in the dungeon of the cursed abbey of Lucedio.

Piazza Statuto, where the mass graves of the Romans are located, became the "black heart" of this place. In ancient times, the border with the Gauls passed here, and the military camp later turned into the capital of the Emperor Augustus. The confluence of two rivers should have provided him with protection from evil, but the gods decided otherwise. The spirits of the fallen soldiers of those times frighten the townspeople to this day, but they themselves do not want to appear in this corner because of medieval torture and executions, after which the corpses were buried in the ground near the scaffold. The Fréjus fountain, with the figures of the Titans bowing before the winged angel, was erected in memory of the workers who died during the construction of the tunnel through the Alps. But people call him Lucifer, not forgetting to mention the hatch leading to the underground temple of the warlocks. From here begins the road to hell, leading under the Gran Madre di Dio. In the 19th century, Satan's adepts gathered for their black masses, and in the 80s the press continued to report ritual murders, noting that 30,000 people worship dark forces in the city. The priests immediately denied the information, although they did not deny the increased interest of the townspeople in the occult sciences and exorcism. It is not for nothing that Pontiff John Paul II noted that Satan is always in a hurry to get to the place where the saints live.

The people of Turin love to describe local ghosts that roam between worlds and are doomed to eternal suffering. Here you can often see a lady in a robe, who was sentenced to death for debauchery and murder of her husband. She still showered people with curses, and behind her can be seen the ghostly figure of a washerwoman who drowned her children. You shouldn't look under the scarf on her face, because you can immediately get sick with consumption. The mysterious Russian princess Beloselskaya is walking near the San Lazzaro cemetery and is looking for a male company. Military Enrico Biandra personally met a ghostly stranger, sweetly talking to him over a cup of coffee. Then he became the lover of a lady who constantly disappears after a stormy night, and then the man was shocked when this person showed him her grave and disappeared into thin air. Fire victims are looking for their burnt babies after the events of 1861,and the inhabitants of medieval quarters shudder at the screams of 16th century travelers who were robbed and killed. But these are all small things compared to the cursed monastery founded by the Cistercians in 1123.

At first, the monks served the Lord and were famous for their rice fields, which saved people during times of famine. They made an irrigation system and turned a dull valley amid forests into a real corner of paradise. All the abbots were bishops and even participated in the crusades, and Peter II even managed to see the fall of Constantinople. From this moment on, the first mysteries of the monastery arise. The dungeon of the bell tower keeps a sarcophagus without a name, which raises many questions from scientists. Some experts are sure that it contains the remains of a Byzantine princess who, after the fall of the city, was sent here by the Marquis of Montferrat. The girl lost her mind from grief and died in captivity, but what intentions did the noble person have, who placed her in the male abbey? Until now, this mystery has remained unanswered, so we can only hopethat experts will be able to find out who is buried in the tomb.

The life of the monastery was no longer as serene as before, since heretics and black magicians began to live in the country. The Inquisition held courts within the walls of this place, and now the column of the hall is suddenly covered with drops of moisture and groans like a living person. Scientists have not been able to figure out the nature of the anomaly, and the townspeople are sure that she remembers torture, since the criminals were chained to her before her execution. Despite such drastic measures, the ministers of the church did not manage to get rid of the sorcerers who led Luchedio to sad consequences.

In 1648, a young magician summoned a powerful demon during a ritual in a cemetery, but he did not have the strength to restrain this monster. It began to frighten the inhabitants and kill late passers-by, and also corrupted the minds of young girls, ordering them to seduce the monks. The plan of the servant of hell came true, because strange events began to take place in the monastery. Young boys who came here to work were tortured and sacrificed by the brothers to the Devil, but this story became known to the Vatican after the rescue of several boys who told people about the terrible masses. The sent exorcist, with great difficulty, caught the creature and imprisoned it under the altar in the crypt, after which he composed special music that would allow it to be kept in captivity. The notes can still be seen on a fresco in the ruined chapel where the incident took place.

Now the monastery is closed, but its mysticism did not end there. Evil continues to live in its refuge, and an incomprehensible fog envelops the territory of the abbey. There appear the ghostly figures of monks disappearing underground, and rituals with sacrifices are held on the ruins of the church. During the restoration, a worker died from a collapsed ceiling, after which the skeleton of a walled up man, who was a priest, was found in the wall. Then, after excavating the dungeons, archaeologists saw a group of dead people sitting in a circle that could guard the entrance to the demon. Energy forces paranormal researchers not to linger among the ruins for a long time, so that no one can study the abode of the fallen angel to reveal its secrets.
