A girl from Nepal, born with a very rare disease, was forced to hide from people and be an outcast for all nine years of her life, because her neighbors called her a monster and a witch.

The father talked about how his daughter avoided the company of other children, because she was born with a rare condition, due to which the left side of her face was covered with thick black hair. Superstitious fellow villagers called Bhavana Tami, now nine years old, "the monster."

The reason for this was her rare illness. Therefore, in her village, which is located in the Dolagha district, 345 kilometers from Kathmandu, in Nepal, the girl hardly walked.

The hair on her face has grown due to a rare disease that can become cancerous without timely treatment. However, the girl's parents could not explain this to their fellow villagers. Without exception, all the inhabitants of the village were sure that a child with such a face was either a witch or some other product of evil. The village council decided to isolate the family from society, after which they were evicted to the borders of the settlement.

Trying to protect his daughter, the father, whose name is Kaluman, did not allow his daughter to look in the mirror, but one day a journalist appeared in the village who took a picture of the girl and then showed her the photographs, as a result of which the eight-year-old child experienced terrible disgust, fear and shock.

A year later, the girl underwent a second operation, as a result of which the hair from her face was completely removed. However, the girl still has at least one operation to be performed, which the surgeons will perform after Bhavana turns 14.

After the girl underwent surgery, fellow villagers took her and her father back, and now she is already playing with other children. Bhavanna's life has changed every day since her first surgery. She is currently attending school and leading the same life as all the children in her village.
