A person who takes the life position of an egoist: “I don’t give a damn about everyone, I’ll only think about myself,” begins active service to the egoic egregor. Each person has an egoic egregor, and its distinctive feature is that everyone has his own, individual. Its functions are, first of all, in maintaining a person as a biological and social unit and protecting his self-consciousness; egoic egregor maintains in a person a sense of his individuality, a sense of "I". At the moment when the egoic egregor is weaker, the person loses the feeling of himself, and he limply floats through the waves of the situations around him, feeling extremely uncomfortable at the same time. In general, the ability to resist the environment, not to mention creativity, is very strongly associated with self-awareness:that is why creative individuals are often extreme individualists.

On the other hand, providing a person and his psyche with integrity and protection from the environment, the egoic egregor is always small, has insignificant energy and is prone to rapid crystallization, i.e. mortification of their forms, which leads to a limitation of the number of channels. Physical existence itself is the basis for any evolutionary activity, therefore the role of the egoic egregor in the system of human relations with the subtle world is very great. Egregor, requiring intensive service, will be forced to coordinate this service with the egoic egregor. This circumstance makes it possible for the egoic egregor to usurp power to a large extent and cut off almost all human connections with other egregor. However, the egoic egregor is always weak, and, therefore, the egocentric always has little realizing power. On the other hand,karmic channels of communication with other egregors still break through the dense protection of the egoic egregor, but are involuntarily interpreted by a person as if they come from the egoic egregor. A kind of distortion of perception arises when the impulses of action aimed at the interests of other persons or organizations, the subconscious mind tries to ignore or interpret as egoistic.

From the outside it can look very funny when a seasoned egoist suddenly, obeying an impulse that is not entirely clear to him, commits an altruistic act; and those around him, and he himself say with surprise: "Well, you must!" And it never occurs to anyone that this is a very dangerous symptom, and if urgent measures are not taken (and this is very difficult), then a catastrophe may follow.

Any large egregor is much stronger than the egoic, and the latter cannot provide the former with any significant resistance: in the case of direct pressure, it either adapts, or sharply degrades and crystallizes, and the person dies or, so to speak, goes into hibernation, i.e. … it seems to exist, but it is like an automaton: no feelings, no thoughts, no hopes.

However, more often the karmic egregor does not do this: it creates a hole in the protective field of the egoic egregor, which spoils the energy of the latter and does not allow him to patch it until it changes properly. Such an energy flow is a very important sign by which you can understand in which direction you need to expand your essential consciousness and change the egoic egregor: if this sign is ignored for a long time, it can subsequently lead to catastrophic changes in the egoic egregor. Such energy holes in the egoic egregor are of a very different kind, but two are most typical: fatal loneliness and unwelcome love.

A sense of loneliness arises from time to time in the soul of every person. Most often it means that he leads a too active life, and the egregor turns him off from it, so that a person stops and, slowing down his rhythm, thinks a little about himself and his life; and usually this feeling disappears quickly. Fatal loneliness is completely different, which is constantly present in the background of the psyche, poisoning the entire life of a person, no matter what he does and in whatever mood he is. This is, in fact, the prohibition of the karmic egregor on the inclusion of a person in group (and pair) activities, i.e. a direct warning that the egoic egregor is too closed (egocentrism).

Another version of the energy hole in the egoic egregor is uninvited love, which sometimes lasts for a very long time, for years and decades, without a sign of reciprocity or joy, when a person already passionately wants to get rid of it, but, as they say, you cannot order your heart (karmic egregor) - and it against will, infinitely attracts to the chosen object. Here the situation of false attachment arises, against which yoga warns.

Attachment is an inevitable companion of evolutionary work, a person becomes attached to the egregor and its guides - an idea, society, a person - but only for the duration of a joint karmic program in order to fulfill it; once it is over, the attachment ends. If there is a general karmic task for the situation, but it is not fulfilled, false attachment arises, accompanied by a leakage of energy (from both sides) without continuing evolutionary work. "I cannot live without you and I cannot with you." If the reader at this point wants to ask: "What then to do?" - the author recommends that he postpone the treatise or start reading it over again.

Service to the egoic egregor should not be confused with egoism. As a rule, a person still fails to put the egoic egregor at the forefront. Any activities related to external activities inevitably include a person in various egregors - his work, informal groups, families, etc. An egoist (in the usual sense of the word) is one who, receiving energy through the channels of various egregors, strives to give it only to the egoic; it is a kind of energy vampire. Such behavior leads to the fact that egregors, having not achieved service from him, close the communication channels, and the energy from them ceases to flow. Outwardly, it looks pretty unsightly; such people are pushed out of various informal collectives, and in formal collectives they are unanimously disliked.

Having been expelled from the collective (i.e. excommunicated from a certain egregor), a person can try to change his behavior, or he can continue the same actions, trying to penetrate into the next egregor and use its energy for his own purposes. For the time being, such behavior can get away with, but it should be remembered that egregor is different from egregor, one is softer, others are tougher, but any of them is stronger than egoic.

There is, however, another, less naive line of behavior. A person, feeling the weakness of the egoic egregor, can try to penetrate into some egregor desirable for him, using the energy of other egregor, which he serves and whose channels are at his disposal. A typical example is an attempt to win the favor of a woman, using an official position or professional knowledge, say, to invite a beloved to a scientific seminar or to the launch of an object. Sometimes it even helps.

On the one hand, this approach is more efficient because more energy is used. On the other hand, the use of significant energy flows for personal purposes leads to a strong increase in chaos in all involved egregors, and they take appropriate measures. If small personal egoism does not attract special attention of a large egregor, then significant energy impacts, in particular, losses, will undoubtedly be noticed, and a response will follow at an equivalent energy level. This is the position of a spy working simultaneously for several warring countries: sooner or later he will certainly be killed (and the previous life will be quite nervous), but before that he can give the owners a fair amount of trouble and trouble.

Adjusting the role of the egoic egregor is extremely important for a person's entire life, and here, unfortunately, it is very difficult to give any general recommendations. Karmically, this role varies widely from person to person. Destiny alone is destined to be guided by social norms of behavior and to go, so to speak, with the flow; for such people, it is the choice of this trend that plays a fundamental role, i.e. leading egregor, and only then everything is more or less predetermined (egoic egregor is weak). At the other pole there are people who are karmically destined to create a powerful egoic egregor, oppose themselves to the environment, surrounding tendencies and morals and create their own system of behavior, ethics, perhaps an original philosophy or a kind of environment. For such people, an attempt to adapt (which the environment always requires) is destructive: the adaptation turns out badly, but it fails to realize oneself. Here, the position “smart will not go up the hill” does not work: if you don’t go up the hill, it will come by itself and bring it under itself. Abilities are not given to anyone for free: one gets them at the expense of the other, and therefore (karmically) must work for two. The description of the egoic egregor will be incomplete without mentioning one of its features. A person who serves him has the least free will of all imaginable: he becomes a slave to his desires, i.e. lower programs of the subconscious. The strength to overcome such slavery can be found only in pursuing higher goals and ideals, i.e. in switching to a larger egregor. And so all the freedom comes down to the choice between pajamas: in a cage or in a strip.
