Continuing the themes: "Ancient civilizations were covered with sand" and "Excavation of ancient antediluvian layers on the territory of Russia".

Several years ago I came across information about a quarry near the city of Minusinsk (Krasnoyarsk Territory), in which the remains of an ancient log house were found, a structure covered with meter layers of sand.

Then I did not see any interesting information, tk. all attention was focused on the events at the Sayano-Shushenskaya HPP.

But now, in the light of the accumulated information, the beginning of which was laid by A. Kungurov and his followers (ubiquitous traces of the flood: the death of mammoths, young forests, layers of clay, sand, rubble, the absence of traces of ancient cities), I remembered those photographs. And so, I share them with readers:

The log house was almost completely destroyed during the development of the sand pit.

The quarry is located at a height of about 20 meters above the Yenisei, a hill with river sediments and gravel. Inside the hill there are 2 ancient houses-structures, in which there is also river gravel and another half-meter of a layer resembling something between earth and soot.

The structure is buried under a layer of sand. It itself could not sink so deeply, it is not a cultural layer and not a swamp.

There are two conclusions. Either the Yenisei in the past had very powerful seasonal floods, the structure was flooded and drifted in with sand, or brought here (washed away) and drifted. Or we observe traces of a cataclysm when it was brought in by a layer of sand and sandy loam. I will add that in the first case, the overflowing river cannot carry so much sand, only a layer of silt of several centimeters can be deposited. The fact was verified during the flooding of summer cottages near Sosnovoborsk on the Yenisei in 2006.

As a child, he often visited the remote taiga places of the Angarsk region. Now I remember that I saw a lot of sandstones, tens and hundreds of kilometers away from the nearest rivers (on which lingonberries grew well), but there was no soil on the sands, but only a layer of moss and needles from conifers.

Another question: how the peasants, during the Stolypin resettlement, were taken by families with belongings, cattle, carts into such a Siberian wilderness that they only went there by helicopters. Although many abandoned villages in our country become simply inaccessible in 10 years. There is only one answer - there were woodlands and steppes. For example, the Khakass steppes have not yet been covered with forests. I did not take soil samples, but I suppose that the sea water left this area last, the soils are still salty, and no trees grow in them. Confirmation is the many salty Khakass and Tuvan lakes like Tuz Island.

One more proof: chests in the Khakass steppe:

The platform of the earth heaved (or vice versa, collapsed) with one edge from the weight of the water.
