Fossils of prehistoric sea creatures have been found on Mars. A YouTube user spotted trilobites in NASA imagery.
One of the YouTube users posted a short video on his channel, which shows anomalous objects that he noticed in NASA images published on the Internet. It is assumed that the photographs capture the fossil forms of trilobites - a species of woodlice that lived on Earth about 52 million years ago and was larger than its relatives.
After examining the information and evidence presented in the video, experts came to the conclusion that in the area where the fossils were found, there used to be a large water area.
To date, experts have divided into two groups - those who believe that the objects seen by the user represent evidence of the existence of life on Mars, and those who support the version of pareidolia - a visual illusion that the brain deceives the eyes by seeing familiar shapes and shapes in textures and patterns. NASA experts said they would soon study both versions and inform the public about the results.
