Essex (East Anglia) is home to the "tallest couple in the world" - the Boltons. Dutch-born Cliff and his wife Wilco Van Cleef Bolton have entered the Guinness Book of Records due to their high growth. Mrs Vilko's height is 1 meter 95 cm, and her husband is 2 meters 13 cm
The Bolton family has two children. Their children - four-year-old son Lucas (height 91 cm) and 2-year-old daughter Eva (height 90 cm) also have every chance of getting into the Guinness Book of Records in the future, the newspaper notes.
Cliff, 29, works as a security guard at Dagenham College. “This job is very easy for me. With my height (2 meters 13 cm) and a weight of over 114 kg, it is not difficult for me to separate the fighting teenagers,”says Cliff.
Cliff has to order shoes for himself through an online store that sells and supplies clothing for basketball players.
“When we go out into the street, everyone starts to look at us. It's a little annoying, but we're already used to the attention of people,”says Cliff.
“Instead of regular blouses or shirts, I have to wear dresses,” says Vilko.
The Boltons met on the Internet. “I was looking for a dance partner on one website. I remember how he asked me if his height suits me. We are really made for each other,”she added. According to doctors, the Boltons are simply extremely tall and do not suffer from gigantism.
