In the Philippines, in the city of San Jose, there lives a five-year-old girl who is able to set fire to various things from a distance and predict fires (though only set by herself).
She is one of those who have the ability to so-called pyrokinesis. Researchers are well aware of this phenomenon, but science is not yet able to explain it.
For the first time they started talking about an unusual child in March 2011. People saw how clothes, mattresses, pillows, and paper caught fire in the presence of a little girl … But the most interesting thing is that the little girl often predicted when something was about to catch fire.
One of the eyewitnesses of the phenomenon was the mayor of the city of San Jose in the province of Antique, where the girl lives. Senor Molina says that after the girl whispered: "Fire … Pillow …" - the pillow in the house caught fire by itself.
Once, when Molina was in the house of the baby's parents, she shouted: "Something is on fire!" And at the same moment, a shirt drying in the yard flared up.
“No one touched her or even came close,” the mayor recalls. "She was just in flames in seconds."
A local policeman named Gorero saw at least five objects on fire in the presence of the strange girl, including pieces of cookies. At the same time, no one touched the objects.
The mayor ordered to place next to the house where the baby's family lives, police officers, firefighters and observers. In all likelihood, doctors and psychologists will test the child in the near future.

Modern parapsychologists believe that this is a form of kinetic poltergeist, which is most often carried by children, adolescents and young women. The phenomenon has a spontaneous psychological nature: its manifestation, as a rule, is preceded by a stressful situation.
In April 1941, spontaneous fires happened every now and then on the farm of William Hackler in the American town of Odon (Indiana). From 8 to 11 in the morning, 48 times (!) Flames flared up in different parts of the house, and the fires were of a very strange nature: in front of people, the wall calendar suddenly began to smolder, clothes hanging on the door, the blanket on the bed simply crumbled into ash, and the book standing on the shelf burned out from the inside. Probably, one of the family members was the indirect culprit of the arson, but it was not possible to establish who exactly.
In August 1948, a family of farmer Charles Wheelers (Illinois, USA) was pursued by mysterious arson attacks. On August 7, the wallpaper in five rooms was lit up at once. As soon as the flame was extinguished in one place, it flared up in another. Then the wallpaper was torn off the walls, but the rafters and wooden partitions continued to burn … Over a week there were more than 200 fires in the house, the fire destroyed all the Wheelers' property. They moved to live in the garage, but one of the sheds in the yard immediately broke out, followed by another … In the end, the Wheelers moved to a neighboring empty house, and only then the fire attack left them alone.
It is possible that the culprit of the poltergeist was the Wheelers' daughter, 13-year-old Vanet: her parents divorced, and the girl was very worried. This could well be the cause of the telekinetic phenomenon.
In the late 1980s, similar phenomena were observed in the city of Yenakiyevo, Donetsk region. At first, two holes with melted edges appeared in the window of the apartment where N.'s family lived, then electric plugs began to fly out, knocks of unknown origin were heard, and spontaneous combustion began. Moreover, they persecuted family members not only in their own home: when they temporarily moved to their parents, various objects also began to ignite there.
Most often, things flashed in the presence of the teenager Sasha. As soon as he somehow came to visit his relatives, the outerwear hanging in the hallway caught fire. Another time, in the apartment of the same relatives, his school uniforms were set on fire, which the boy, changing clothes, hung on the back of a chair. Fires also happened at the school where Sasha went: once his portfolio caught fire right in the classroom.
The prosecutor's office opened a criminal case on the fact of arson. They tried to blame Sasha for everything. Doctors were preparing to diagnose the teenager with pyromania. The N.'s family was literally persecuted, subjected to psychiatric and other examinations, but they did not reveal any signs of mental disorders. By the way, no matter how the law enforcement agencies pressed the boy, he never confessed to anything. And on May 23, 1987, the poltergeist stopped by itself.
However, there are times when a sensitive kindles a fire of his own free will. For example, the famous Ninel Kulagina managed to heat objects with a glance to a very high temperature, which was repeatedly recorded during experiments.
And yet, what is the relationship between the mental state of a person and the thermal characteristics of the objects around him? Unfortunately, the nature of the phenomenon is not completely clear.
