How the spontaneous movement of objects in space occurs, none of the scientists until our time has been able to explain. But why was something that was not subject to the mind of a scientist, for the British spiritualist of the 19th century, it was almost commonplace?
Darwin's friend, the well-known zoologist A. R. Wallace, in the second half of the 19th century, began to get involved in spiritualism. To communicate with the other world, the scientist did not need an intermediary, since his sister F. Sims had a friend named Agnes Nicole, endowed with an amazing gift. In her presence, curious phenomena arose, including objects that began to move by themselves.
During the seances conducted by a mysterious girl, Wallace made a number of interesting observations. Some forces invisible to the eye delivered various objects to the scientist's table. Wallace wrote down the results of his experiments in his diary.
On a frosty December day, Lady Sims heard the voice of her late brother, William. He made an appointment with her in a dark room located in the farthest corner of the house. As dusk fell, Lady Sims, one of her friends, Wallace, and a few others had a seance.

Everyone at the table remained calm. A few minutes later, some blurred outlines began to appear on the table. The medium said that she sees a man's hand, and everyone else is something that resembles flowers.
Someone from those present could not stand it and turned on the light. A mountain of fern leaves appeared in front of the astonished faces of the people sitting around the table. All the leaves were covered with dew, as if they had recently been brought from the forest. According to Mrs. Geppi, she was heading for the stairs, talking with her husband, walking towards her. Suddenly she wanted to look around, and the woman saw how the silhouette of a man began to appear in the air. The woman screamed out of surprise, her husband hurried to her aid and saw that the pale Erne was rising from the floor.
At this time, the doors and windows of the mansion were locked, so those present had to admit that they had witnessed a paranormal phenomenon. However, outside the house, many spiteful critics laughed and claimed that the lady personally let her lover into the house, and when she got caught on a hot one, she played an implausible scene for her horny husband.
However, in the summer of the same year, events took place that silenced all skeptics. The participants in these events were very serious people - the editor of the magazine W. Garrison and the famous businessman G. Morris.

An article by Morris appeared in a London newspaper describing his participation in a seance, in a group of seven men and three ladies. Some of the gentlemen gathered, like businessman Morris himself, attended such a session for the first time. The room in which the action took place was located on the first floor of the building. There was little furniture in it: an open wardrobe, a dozen chairs and a table in the center of the room with a music box. The window was closed tightly.
When all the participants were seated at the table, the door to the room was locked with a key. A music box started playing, and lights floated around the room. After them, the box itself rose into the air, which quickly picked up speed and began to rush over the heads of the amazed spectators.
After a while, the voices of the spirits were heard. They identified themselves as John King and his daughter Katie. The man was bass, and the girl spoke almost in a whisper. The participants in the session asked Katie if she was able to bring them any thing, and she willingly agreed. Someone joked:
- And Mrs. Geppi can be brought here?
Then John intervened:
- You're just laughing. This is the fattest woman in the capital.
The girl interrupted the man:

Like a true gentleman, Morris remained silent about the woman appearing on the table in her night clothes and bare feet. Otherwise, an incredible scandal would have flared up. Agnes's house was three miles from the scene of the events described. The woman was dressed and taken home.
The door was opened by her astonished friend, who told about the mysterious disappearance of the mistress of the house literally in front of her eyes. Nieland claimed that she was sitting at the very exit of the room, and Agnes could not pass by her unnoticed.
The husband of the missing woman behaved extremely calmly. Sitting down at the spiritualistic table, he asked:
- Spirits, is this your business?
An affirmative knock was heard.

Having received confirmation that everything is in order, the husband smiled and went to bed.
W. Garrison published a protocol of the described events in the journal. He was assured with their signatures by all the participants in the seance, and among them were those who had a scientific degree.
When Queen Victoria found out about the incident, S. Geppi was summoned to the palace. The elderly spouse assured that everything described is pure truth, and if his wife is put in any cell, she will easily get out of there with the help of spirits. The queen did not conduct such experiments and sent the man home.
After the death of old Geppi, Agnes remarried. And again the spirit became her chosen one. In 1917, this unusual woman went to another world along with her secret teleportation.
