100 grams of medicinal buckwheat

Samarskaya Luka is a unique place on the map of Russia. Here, in the village of Shiryaevo, Ilya Repin wrote his "Barge Haulers on the Volga", and the freeman of Stepan Razin left behind in these lands numerous treasures and caches, the legends of which are still alive. The oldest mountain range of the Middle Volga region - Zhiguli, with its relict flora and fauna, has been preserved since the last Great Cold. But you never know how interesting it is!..

However, in addition to everything, the attention of our and foreign ufologists is riveted to Samarskaya Luka. On this territory, not only unusual atmospheric phenomena are observed quite regularly: "clipped" light columns, very realistic mirages, fireballs and inexplicable fogs - but also UFO flights.

There were, of course, odious cases of hoaxes. So, in the UFO periodicals they wrote about the traces of UFOs left in July 2005 on the buckwheat field of the Avtozavodsky district of Togliatti. However, in this case, the farmer, the owner of the field, was most likely interested in the sensation: in the fall of the same 2005, at the Togliatti wholesale market, a hundred-gram bag of "medicinal" buckwheat allegedly from that very field was sold for 100 rubles!

Cigar in the rays of sunset

But I want to tell you about other cases. About those that happened in my presence, or people who were worthy of trust told me about them.

In August 1997, two of my friends, Oleg Davydov and Valery Migira, were returning to Togliatti from fishing from the direction of the village of Khryashchevka. It was about nine in the evening. The sun was going down. The guys were driving slowly, when suddenly Oleg, who was sitting in the passenger seat, cried out in surprise, noticing something unusual on the right in the direction of travel. Indeed, there, right above the Volga, which was no more than three kilometers away, at an altitude of about a kilometer in the sky, there was a cigar-shaped object, at first glance metallic, reflecting the rays of the golden evening sun.

Promotional video:

Valery stopped the car and the friends watched the "cigar" for several minutes. Listened - no sounds. They continued on their way, almost to the very Upper Belozerok, without losing sight of a strange sight, although Oleg, leaning out of the window, already had to look back.

What was it? Twelve years later, I came across a scanty note on the Internet that in the late 80s - early 90s, at one of the Samara aircraft plants, the final work and tests of the aircraft for transporting the assembled launch vehicle to Baikonur were carried out. And that this apparatus was shaped like a cigar-shaped airship. Didn't the guys see him that already distant summer?
