According to most of the studies carried out, it was the "Bronze Age" that was the last surge in the activity of the ancient "gods" -aliens on planet Earth. After 2200 BC. traces of their activity actually cease, most likely, representatives of extraterrestrial intelligence have departed (whether to their home planet or somewhere else - this, of course, we cannot know). However, there is at least one evidence that one of the "gods" - aliens could have stayed a little longer on Earth: these are the famous "laws of Hammurabi", which began not only the history of jurisprudence, but also the construction of a modern-type civilization known to us …
A lot has been written about the meaning of these laws of Hammurabi, we will not delve into them, you can easily familiarize yourself with this in other sources. But something else is important here: how and from whom did these laws arise?
There is historical evidence that one of the "gods" - Shamash - remained on Earth for some time after the departure of the main part of the "gods". Shamash (from the Semitic root Sh-M-Sh - the sun) - the god of the sun among the Babylonians and Assyrians. The symbol that signified it in translation: "Lord of the day."
So, after the departure of the "gods", the oldest surviving legislative collection appeared, carved in stone in the 35th year of the reign of the Babylonian ruler Hammurabi (c. 1759 BC), which, it is said, was handed over to Hammurabi - personally by God Shamash.
The laws of Hammurabi - the upper part of the basalt column in the photo (see above). The supreme deity, "judge of the gods", "patron of justice" - "sun god" Shamash - presents the text of the laws to King Hammurabi. This event is very similar to what happened several centuries later: God entrusted Moses with his commandments on Mount Sinai: "And when God stopped talking with Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him two tablets of revelation, stone tablets, on which were written by the hand of God." (Ex.31: 18) (If the Laws of Hammurabi date well to the middle of the 18th century BC, then the events in the book "Exodus" took place in the 15th-13th centuries BC. And the text of the book itself appeared several centuries later (approximately in the X century BC).
Thus, there is good reason to believe that the "exodus of the gods" was not of a one-time nature. And Shamash remained on Earth for about 500 years after the departure of the main part of the "gods" (of which there were so few left after the "War of the Gods"), finally leaving to people a set of basic laws that changed the history of the development of human society.
