American expert Britton Satthews was able to determine which countries located in Europe would withstand a nuclear war. The scientist has designed a special interactive map that clearly demonstrates the destroyed and surviving states.
A terrible tragedy, the mass death of Japanese residents due to the use of nuclear weapons against the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, pushed Satthese to create such a map. The memory of this catastrophe is still firmly in people's minds. The development of a scientist allows you to see the consequences that will arise if a historical event repeats. At the same time, the expert noted that a nuclear war will take the lives of billions of the world's inhabitants.
According to Satthews' forecasts, if a 50-ton warhead is dropped on London, the residents of the city will seriously suffer from second-degree burns, which will lead to death, but the death of the local population is far from the only consequence, since the range of the nuclear bomb will spread to France, Holland, Italy and Germany. Citizens of these countries will also die, while they will experience terrible torment.
At the moment, there are only two states that have in stock a huge amount of nuclear weapons capable of destroying the inhabitants of the entire globe. The USA and Russia are among the deadliest powers.
