First of all, I want to express my gratitude to the regular reader of the channel, S. Kichigin, for the material provided for this article.

The story is gone

In this series of articles, I will try to very briefly and easily present the content of the book by Andrey Stepanenko "History is no more". This book is not easy to read, but the information contained in it simply blows up the brain. A non-standard view of biblical and ancient history is perceived with great surprise, everything is too seriously confirmed by facts and logical conclusions. At first, I can't even believe it, due to the scale of the revealed problems. But I cannot be called an adherent of the official version of history….

The Egyptian campaign of Napoleon in 1798 is described in detail and in detail. There is no point in repeating generally known and publicly available information. Another thing is interesting, what was the rationale behind the campaign, which had NO military purpose?

The prehistory of this campaign is incredibly strange, judge for yourself: the rationale for the campaign, official historians consider the beginning of the war with Britain (!) And the campaign through the Middle East to India … apparently they could not think of anything better, they decided that such a thing would do. Where are Egypt and England, and even more so India! Therefore, I propose to go straight to the alternative version described in the book by A. Stepanenko.

Promotional video:

Egypt at that time was under the protectorate of the Ottoman Port, but on the whole was an independent state ruled by a caste of Mamluk warriors. France requested permission from the Porta to enter Egypt and received it. In June 1798, 32,000 selected French soldiers landed near Alexandria.

Scientists and donkeys - in the middle

Bonaparte did not receive orders from the Directory of France to capture Egypt or the Isthmus of Suez, did not seek military victories, but immediately after the landing of troops, he turned to the Egyptian population about the goals of the campaign. It was stated that France, out of humanistic (!) Considerations, decided to help the people of Egypt and throw off the yoke of the hated Mamluks (all the same, we heard before the NATO bombing of Libya - the Europeans do not bother looking for new excuses).

Trying not to get involved in battles, his army hastily set off up the Nile. And the hurry was worth it. All of Europe reared up when it learned where Napoleon was heading. Sharp demands were made to stop the expedition IMMEDIATELY. The Ottoman Empire is forced to gather troops, and the English admiral Nelson scoured the Mediterranean in search of a French squadron.

In rare clashes with the Turkish-Mamluk troops, French soldiers, lining up in squares, received the command of the commanders: "Scientists and donkeys - in the middle!" We must save the most valuable thing on this trip!

The expedition included 175 French mathematicians, linguists and draftsmen. Bonaparte himself, headed the mathematical section of the scientific team! In addition, they have at their disposal a significant corps of sappers who did not blow up anything, but only dug up temples and tombs covered by sand.

The situation around the campaign escalated to such an extent that Napoleon was forced to carry out two distracting maneuvers:

1) The entire French army, led by Bonaparte, in fact covered the 5 thousandth corps of General Deset, in which scientists and sappers proceeded to Upper Egypt to Elephantine (read more: History no longer exists. The mystery of biblical Jerusalem.).

2) When the Egyptians began to resent the fact that the French were touching old graves, Bonaparte, diverting attention and reducing the intensity of passions, played a whole performance. He started a discussion about whether the French could massively convert to Islam, whether they should be circumcised and stop drinking wine, and to demonstrate the seriousness of his intentions, he married his general to a local girl and even forced him to be circumcised!

Masks dropped - back to France

In the meantime, the core of the expedition - scientists and sappers, are digging up and opening tombs, sketching frescoes, hieroglyphs and drawings in temples. Linguists and Egyptologists decipher ancient texts, giving direction for further searches.

Finally, the ultimate goal of all this madness, called a military campaign, was achieved - the island of Elephantine. In Bonaparte's absence, Baron Dominique Vivant Denon led the scientific team.

On this map, the ultimate goal of the entire Egyptian campaign of Bonaparte's army is the islands of Elephantine and Philae. The Baron sketches all the temples of Elephantine and the most important of them, the temple of Khnum (the lamb god). A few years later, the British blew up all these temples so that no one else did what Napoleon did … and Denon's drawings became the only images of the iconic Temple known as the "Temple of Amenhotep III".

Drawings of Elephantine temples cost him the entire French fleet (328 ships) and 2/3 of the army (24,000 soldiers were captured). But apparently, they were worth it, since the highest ranks of the republic, after the first conversation with Bonaparte, quietly yielded to their general everything that he demanded.

A month later, Bonaparte, whom for the loss of the fleet and the captured army should have been brought to trial, made an unthinkable career rise and became the first consul of France. The deputies who did not understand anything were so indignant that they had to be pacified with the help of the guards.

Substitution

There is evidence that Napoleon had negotiations with Italian and Middle Eastern (most influential) Jewish communities. The essence of the contacts remained unknown, but after that the young, ambitious consul no longer had financial problems.

In addition, there is a version that Bonaparte did not stay with the army in vain, while his scientific team investigated Elephantine - he reached modern Palestine to see with his own eyes the places that, according to the official version, claim to be biblical history.

The threat to publish research confirming the substitution of Holy Places could greatly undermine faith in the Catholic Church and the authority of the royal dynasties. Monarchs and church hierarchs considered it best to remain silent and negotiate with the impudent Corsican.

In 1804, Napoleon proclaimed himself Emperor, and in 1809 removed the Vatican's archives. True, as often happens in such cases, some of the boxes "drowned or disappeared on the way", and some of them after a while were found … in England. The public got a chance to find out some details of the activities of the Holy Inquisition and the Church.

If you know modern history, then you should remember that it was in the 19th century that the Roman Church (by a strange coincidence) greatly lost ground and no longer intervened (openly) in politics and social life.

But the African Elephantine and the sacred knowledge inscribed on the walls and vaults of Egyptian and Ethiopian temples remained extremely dangerous for the creators of the new world history. They needed not only to be destroyed, but to reformat, to put in their place false information confirming the accepted (beneficial to the Europeans) version. And here the professionals got down to business….
