The small village of Pushkarka, which is a few kilometers south of Mozhaisk, looks no different from many other villages near Moscow: several quite ordinary houses by the road, SNT sprawling nearby, around fields and forests. However, several very unusual events that took place in these places at the end of the last century made Pushkarka a very famous place among researchers of the paranormal, lovers of everything unknown and even pilgrims.

It all started quite peacefully. The spring located not far from the village, which is a set of streams flowing beautifully down a steep grassy slope and forming waterfalls, is popularly called the Seven Springs. The water from this spring is delicious and crystal clear all year round, and the territory surrounding the spring is especially beautiful - the proximity of civilization is almost not felt here, and nature lives here its own free life. Locals have always appreciated and cherished such an oasis of wild untouched nature near their homes.

Once a middle-aged man fell ill in the village. The illness was serious, and the doctors at the nearest hospital were unable to help him tangibly. They were sent to Moscow, or rather to the regional center, but having traveled there several times, he realized that it is easier to die than endlessly collecting certificates, taking them to distant lands, running around the floors and sitting in the corridor for several hours under each door. "Whatever happens," he decided, and returned to the village. Here, in the fresh air and away from all the hustle and bustle, he felt much better.

However, thoughts of illness periodically overtook sadness, and then he began to hastily put things in order: he sorted out old photographs, moved the woodpile behind the house, sorted out the shed. On one of these days, when grief overwhelmed him especially, he went to the Seven Keys to say goodbye to his beloved place, where many happy childhood days had passed. The man slowly walked along the path, admiring the quiet Protva, enjoying the singing of birds and the fresh wind bringing the smell of meadow grasses.

When it was only a little bit before the spring, our hero suddenly saw a man sitting by the path. He was an old man with a kind look and a gray beard, clearly tired from the long journey, and sat down to rest on a fallen tree. Nearby were two empty water bottles, so he was obviously going to the spring too. After a few meters, the path steeply went down the slope - at that time there was not yet a metal staircase here - and after the rain it was very slippery. The man greeted his grandfather and wanted to walk past, but then some inner voice stopped him: "How can the old man go down such a steepness, and then go up back with full bottles?" He immediately turned around and invited the stranger to fill his bottles and then bring them back. The old man smiled, thanked and handed the containers. When the man had almost disappeared behind the bend of the ravine, grandfather said either after him, or under his breath: "This water is healing, but now almost no one remembers it."

Our hero went down to the spring, washed himself with ice water, drank from a mug that had been lying here for many years, filled bottles and deftly climbed the slippery slope of the ravine. Literally fifteen minutes passed, but the old man was nowhere to be found. "Have I been walking for so long?" Looking around and walking back and forth along the path several times, he never saw grandfather. Somehow his hand did not rise to pour out the water and throw out the bottles, and so he took them with him and wandered home, deciding to come to the spring again tomorrow. On the way, he met a family with children, but they did not meet anyone on the way.

Having brought water home, the man once again in his life was surprised at its taste and purity. Earlier, in their distant childhood, they ran to the spring several times a day to get drunk, having played enough football or Cossack robbers, and my grandmother often carried water home, but always drank it straight, and brewed tea in water from a well. Later, the whirlwind of adult life no longer left time for such trifles as walking in the woods and going to the spring, and only the current circumstances returned him to the paths of childhood.

And then a miracle happened. After drinking bottled water in a couple of days, the man went to the source again, but did not meet anyone there. Having collected water, he returned home, and a few days later history repeated itself. So several months passed, and then a whole year - the disease receded. At some point, our hero remembered those few words of a mysterious stranger, and remembered his grandmother, who was anxious about the spring water. Who that kind grandfather was - he never found out, but he finally came to the conclusion that we use too little the wisdom of old people.

It is no coincidence that we do not mention the name of the main character, because this story has become a local legend, and no one now knows for sure the name of that person. However, the Seven Springs spring still exists and is very popular with local residents and not only. In 2009, the area around the source was made a "specially protected natural area", which had a beneficial effect on its safety.

However, other stories are told about the vicinity of the village of Pushkarki, which brought here numerous ufologists and other researchers of the unknown. In the late 90s of the last century, local residents repeatedly noticed luminous aircraft of unknown origin in the sky. Sometimes they just looked like lights, and sometimes their outlines were visible, reminiscent of intergalactic ships from films about aliens. In 2000, the expedition of the "Cosmopoisk" association visited here, whose members managed to see a spherical luminous object in the night sky in a few days. Subsequent studies of the soil and magnetic waves did not reveal any special deviations, and the UFO did not appear again. Having recorded the stories of several eyewitnesses, the expedition returned to Moscow. Since then, Pushkarka has become widely known in such circles, and went down in history,as one of the anomalous zones of the Moscow region.
