And what should we do with messages where Bigfoot disappears not because it is hiding in the woods,but literally disappears into thin air? Richard Freeman (zoologist) is the director of the Fort Zoology Center in Devon, the world's largest group dedicated to the study of unknown animals. In the summer of 1997, Richard was a student at the University of Leeds, where he studied for a degree in zoology. And it was there that Richard got the idea to try to create for himself a classic example of a tulpa, in the form of a giant spider. Over the next several days, Richard and his friends continued to meditate in front of the altar and visualized a huge glowing spider in their minds and imaginations. Incredibly, a few weeks later something truly unusual happened. One day, Richard entered the basement where the altar was built, and was amazed and more than frightened when he saw a silhouette on the opposite dark wall, the image resembled nothing more than a giant white spider.“It looked like a photographic negative,” Richard said. The shadow quickly disappeared and never reappeared.
Likewise, in the early summer of 2006, I (Nick Redfern) spent the night in the dark woods of Staffordshire Cannock Chase and specifically in the vicinity of its so-called German Cemetery - named after the many German prisoners of war who died during the First and Second World Wars and whose bodies were buried there. The reason was simple: over the past few weeks, there have been numerous reports of large, wolf-like animals roaming the edges of the churchyard. So I got the idea to go back to the UK for a while. I have been fascinated by Tulpa for years, and like Richard, I did a deep meditation that went on all night to try and create a werewolf in this case. At that time, nothing significant happened at all. About twelve months later, in mid-2007,the local Stafford Post began reporting sightings of a devilish creature, described by witnesses as a hairy, human-like figure with a wolf's head, in the same cemetery. Was my activity over the previous year successful? Did I actually create a Tulpa-style werewolf? To be honest, I can't say for sure. However, I can say that there are several cases very similar to mine with Richard.
