The mysterious death of a handyman from a small village near the city of Ciguatepeque (Honduras) has caused numerous rumors that Chupacabra killed him.

The farmer's assistant was found dead on Tuesday in early February after being attacked by a mysterious animal and sucked all the blood out of him.
The details of what happened are known from the neighbors. True, it is not specified whether they actually saw something or whether their story is based only on assumptions.
Neighbors said that the handyman got tired after a busy day at work and decided to take a break. To do this, he lay down in the shade of a tree next to the stones and took off his shoes.
The unfortunate man did not notice that next to his resting place there was a burrow of some animal, and when he settled down next to it, an unidentified animal jumped out of the burrow and firmly grabbed his bare heel with his teeth.
The animal not only bit the man, but began to suck the blood out of him, and soon the worker died of blood loss right on the spot.

The man's body was found by his relatives only at night, when they were worried that he had not come home and went to look for him. According to the grief-stricken people, the body of the deceased was completely pale and "there was not a single drop of blood in it."
No further details of the case are known at the moment. The police are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
Chupacabra in Honduras

In 2009, 15 sheep were killed by an unidentified predator in Esparta County. Local farmers immediately blamed the Chupacabra for their death.
Who is Chupacabra
The Chupacabra is an unidentified predator that supposedly attacks livestock and sucks blood out of it. After such attacks, people find animals dead and bloodless, and on their bodies from wounds there are basically only a couple of holes in the neck.
Chupacabra attacks began in Puerto Rico in the 1950s (the word chupacabra means “goat fluke”) but quickly spread throughout the world. No one has yet been able to prove the real existence of this animal, although they have seen it many times.
The Chupacabra is most often described as a two-legged or four-legged creature with bare skin and spines on its back, as well as with a long thin tongue. Its activities are associated either with secret US experiments or with aliens, for which the Chupacabra allegedly obtains "biological material."
Skeptics believe that feral dogs or other local predators are behind all attacks attributed to the Chupacabra.
