Many people like to say the phrase: "I owe nothing to anyone!" This is an extremely comfortable position. If someone has done something good to you, that is, as they say, his problem. You don't owe him anything. But is it? Parapsychologists say that ingratitude for someone's help can return the situation to the so-called "zero point".

Kara Asclepius

Unfortunately, many people consider consumer attitude to others to be the norm. They get what they want from the right person, but they don’t think about gratitude. They may refuse his request. Or not pay for the services rendered. It also happens that they simply stop communicating with the benefactor. Why, they say, continue some kind of relationship if nothing else is needed from a person? And this is a typical situation.

The ancient Greeks believed that if the cured patient treated the doctor badly (say, did not pay the due amount for the treatment), then the god of medicine Asclepius would return his illness to him again. There is a story about a blind man to whom the doctor managed to restore his sight. However, he refused to pay the doctor. And soon he went blind again.

By the way, for the same reason, healers are prohibited from treating people for free. It is believed that free treatment will not work for the future. You have to pay at least symbolic money or in kind - with food, etc.

Or take the situation with the adoption of children. It always seemed strange to me that people take a child from an orphanage, raise him for several years, and then “hand over” him back. Do they not have time to at least become attached to the foster child during this time? After all, their own, no matter how sick or difficult it may be, is not given anywhere!

It often happens that after adoption, a previously childless couple has their own children. Experts explain this by the fact that the causes of infertility are psychological: spouses are trying very hard to have a child, tense, and this disrupts the hormonal balance. And when someone else is adopted, they stop thinking about pregnancy, the hormonal background is restored and a "miracle" happens.

One way or another, in some cases, after the appearance of the "native" baby, the adopted child is abandoned. So, one married couple could not have their own children and adopted a girl from an orphanage. And soon the wife became pregnant! As soon as the spouses found out about this, they immediately returned their adopted daughter back to the orphanage. There were arguments - the girl was not too healthy and too capricious. What if she hurts her future brother or sister!

And what? The woman gave birth to a child with serious defects, and he soon died. In addition, the birth undermined her health, and the doctors said that she would never have children again. After some time, her husband left her - you never know healthy women who can give birth without problems!

Another family took a one-year-old boy to raise. When he was four years old, his adoptive mother was in a position. And they decided to send the foster child to an orphanage - they say, why a strange child, if soon there will be one? It came as a shock to the kid. He did not understand why dad and mom (he did not know that they were not his family) gave him to some strangers (care workers) and why he, a house child, found himself in an unfamiliar place with many other "ownerless" children.

As one would expect, this situation ended badly for the family that had given up the adoption. The woman died during childbirth, the baby died too. The husband, left alone, washed down, drank the apartment and turned into a homeless person. But everything went well for the boy: he was adopted by a large family of a priest.

Another example. In one family, a child had a developmental delay. The kid did not speak, and physically developed poorly. Some of the doctors whom the parents turned to advised to get a dog - they say, sometimes it helps. After six months, the child was unrecognizable: he began to speak briskly, and grew stronger, catching up in development of his peers. However, the baby's parents did not like the fact that there was a lot of trouble with the dog: it was necessary to walk with it, feed it, the coat sheds, and going on vacation is a whole problem, as it was necessary to attach the pet somewhere … Therefore, it was decided to give the pet to a shelter. Time passed, and the child again stopped talking, and then he also fell ill with epilepsy. And if the dog was not sent to the shelter?

You have to pay for everything

Of course, one could argue that all this coincidence and ingratitude has nothing to do with it. But there are too many such examples.

Meanwhile, according to parapsychologists, there are karmic laws, according to which you have to pay for any benefit you receive. Let not in the literal sense - not money, something else. And if you refuse to pay, then the situation may return to its starting point or even worsen. You can pay with your health or even your life.

Perhaps, if a person helped you on the little things, then there will be no retribution. In any case, a significant reckoning. But if he did a lot for you or even really changed your life for the better, then you will have to pay. And you must be ready for this. Therefore, you do not need to leave those who helped you, or refuse them in return assistance.

Of course, each situation is unique in its own way, and the forms of gratitude can be different. Still, you should think about it before arguing that you do not owe anyone anything.
