Japan will develop instructions for pilots in the event of a UFO encounter, Defense Minister Taro Kono said.
"Until now, the pilots of the air self-defense forces have not encountered a UFO, but it is necessary to establish a course of action in such a case," - said the head of the Japanese defense department, quoted by NHK.
According to Kono, he himself does not believe in the existence of UFOs. At the same time, the Japanese minister stressed that after the Pentagon published a video of unidentified flying objects, he would like to know the conclusions of experts on this matter.
On the eve of the Pentagon posted on its official website several videos filmed in different years with incomprehensible phenomena in the airspace. The video was "leaked" to the Network some time ago without the approval of the command. The US Defense Department acknowledged the authenticity of the recordings. “The phenomena observed on the commercials are still characterized as 'unidentified',” the American side said in a statement.
