Every year, if you rely on the reports of ufologists and news agencies, UFO visits to Earth grows exponentially. At the same time, a rare visit goes without consequences for our nature: either crop circles will appear, or domestic animals will be injured … And recently, UFOs have become intensely interested in the earth's soil.
As a rule, after a visit to such an object, pits are formed at the site of its planting, and the sod is removed. And recently in Azerbaijan, according to a local ufologist, a UFO, flying over the Caspian Sea, plunged into it, and after taking off, caused the water to recede by 10 meters …
There are many such examples. But why are UFOs our soil and water? To get an answer to this question, we turned to the famous St. Petersburg ufologist Sergei ORLOV, who for many years has been researching various natural anomalies and constructing devices for studying mysterious phenomena.
Sergey, I know that you have been to the UFO landing sites more than once. Well, is it true that aliens always bring something earthly with them?
-I, in fact, have repeatedly visited UFO landing sites. Studying even holes with slightly melted edges, comparing my observations and conclusions with the reports of other ufologists about soil fences, I came to the conclusion that UFOs carry out such fences regularly, and according to a very well-developed technology. However, it is impossible to find a pattern in such incidents. Somewhere a ton of earth disappears, and somewhere there is only a narrow pit that goes deep underground.
But any action must have a motive …
-Of course. In my opinion, UFOs are not interested in the soil itself, but in what is in it. I will cite several versions that seem the most plausible to me.
Remember the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant? After that, part of the contaminated land was cut and buried in burial grounds. So, UFO pilots, perhaps not wanting to interfere with the natural processes taking place on Earth, seize environmentally hazardous substances that were left after the landing of their aircraft.

According to the second version, UFOs are taking samples of biological material. After all, everyone knows that in the upper layers of the soil there are countless microorganisms, insects and small animals. Moreover, some species of plants and animals are endemic, that is, they are found only in one place on Earth. In principle, on a universal scale, our planet is inhabited by tens of thousands of unique creatures. It can be assumed that UFOs use microorganisms to synthesize substances that are difficult or not economically viable to produce using chemistry. I will give you a completely earthly example to make it clear.

The silkworm caterpillar weaves the finest thread, which is then used to make silk fabric. Theoretically, at the present stage of development of technology, we are able to synthesize a substance that is secreted by the glands of the silkworm. But due to the complexity of the synthesis process and due to the serious economic costs of production, this technology will not replace the work of silkworm caterpillars as long as they are bred.
So, it is quite possible that UFO pilots are picking up microorganisms from Earth in order to optimize their costs for the production and synthesis of rare substances and materials.
And finally, the third version. As the ufological practice shows, newcomers are always restrained and do not allow themselves open interference in human life, and therefore never leave behind "artifacts". So perhaps soil sampling is a rudimentary removal of evidence.
Have aliens never made gifts to earthlings who came into contact with them?
-Many people asked the aliens to give them something to remember. However, most often they only had burns as a keepsake … However, they say how once, in exchange for an alien's request to bring water, a man asked to give him a taste of what the aliens baked on the "grate without fire". To his surprise, he was given several small cakes. Some of them were subsequently snapped up by researchers, and he kept one for himself. It turned out that they were made from ordinary flour, water and salt, and they tasted like cardboard. And that's it! Nobody else received anything from UFOs ever! No one has yet left gifts to people from another planet in the form of blasters, anti-gravity platforms and other innovations.
Perhaps UFOs come to us for lost things or for the wreckage of ships of their fellows who have crashed. After all, on Earth, after an aircraft crash, the investigation team, as a rule, always collects its smallest fragments …

It turns out that the version about the search and collection of minerals, for example gold, as many science fiction writers present it, is completely dead-end?
- I'm sure yes. I believe UFOs are only interested in biological resources. After all, all substances in all possible aggregate states that are on Earth are very common in space. For example, on the same Moon, substances such as gold, sodium, silver, mercury, ammonia and many others were found. And British scientists in the W3 (OH) region of the Milky Way have recently discovered even a huge cloud of methyl alcohol vapor! All this suggests that UFOs arrive here clearly not for our resources, it is much easier to get them near our own planet.
True, it can be assumed that they found the possibility of almost instantaneous movement across the galaxy, and near their planet they exhausted all resources … Then they, perhaps, would have gone to us to replenish their reserves. But in this case - agree! - it would be easier for them to steal gold from bank vaults: it has already been cleared of impurities and melted down into ingots. But frequent abductions of people and various kinds of experiments on them, mutilated animals - all this suggests that UFOs need biological material.
