And these are not panicky cries of yellow newspapers. Prominent experts have spoken about the serious consequences of the explosion over the past few years. Jacob Levenshtein, curator of the Yellowstone Volcanic Observatory, claims that the explosion of the volcano would be equivalent to ripping out 1,000 atomic bombs.
The volcano has woken up three times already, throwing out 1 thousand cubic kilometers of magma. Is this a lot?
