Leonardo da Vinci is considered one of the greatest geniuses in the world. His works are renowned for their beauty and anatomical excellence, as reflected in the cost of his most famous work, the Mona Lisa, which is worth £ 700 million.
However, there is another of da Vinci's masterpieces that has recently attracted widespread attention, as the great Italian master left a hidden message in it for posterity, warning them about the date of the beginning of the Apocalypse.
This is the painting "The Last Supper" by Leonardo da Vinci, depicting the last few hours that Jesus Christ spent with his apostles. Da Vinci began work on The Last Supper in 1495 and completed his masterpiece in 1498.
This masterpiece by da Vinci has undergone numerous restoration attempts. Some of them took place in 1726, 1770, 1853, 1903, 1924, 1928 and 1978, while these are only official restorations. Therefore, most researchers rightly assume that today the picture has very little in common with the original. Nevertheless, at every opportunity, they try to distinguish da Vinci's colors from subsequent layers and search the archives for sketches of this painting and drafts.
Italian art critic Sabrina Sforza Galitzia has been researching this painting since 2010 and the main fragment that attracts her attention is the large central window, the vault above which contains a "mathematical and astrological" puzzle.
According to Sabrina, this cryptographic code encrypts the date of the End of the World, which will occur during the "global flood". The flood will begin on March 21, 4006 and will end on November 1 of the same year, after which a "new era for humanity" will come.
The da Vinci cipher consists in the specific arrangement of the signs of the zodiac, while da Vinci used 24 letters of the Latin alphabet to designate the hours of the day.

Ms. Sforza was able to get closer to understanding the code while working in the secret archives of the Vatican, where she studied da Vinci's manuscripts made while working on the painting. After that, the time of the future flood was tentatively named - March-November 4006.
However, now Ms. Sforza, in the light of the new information available to her about the original sketches of the painting, has revised her research and is writing another book. In it, she promises to name a new date for the Apocalypse and, according to her, this new date will be very ominous.
