Note: the author used (partially) materials and documents from an article by Nikolai and Natalia Varsegovs, journalists of the newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda, for 2015.

Semyon Zolotarev. Born on February 2, 1921 in the Kuban (village Convenient). He graduated from high school at 20, apparently due to the fact that he was forced to help his family. In 1941 he was drafted into the army, went through the entire war to Berlin. Most surprising of all, the war spared him. He had no injuries or concussions. After the war he graduated from the Minsk Institute of Physical Culture. He worked in universities and schools in the city of Pyatigorsk. In 1959, he quit his job as an instructor at a camp site, then, for some reason, went on a hike with a group of Igor Dyatlov. He died on his birthday along with the rest of the hike.

Why he was included in the group is not clear even today. Semyon, by the way, had one interesting habit. He told everyone that his name was Alexander (Sasha). But in the passport, he is recorded as Semyon Alekseevich Zolotarev. Another detail was even more interesting. Semyon had a very interesting tattoo on his arm. "GS" DAERMMUAZUAYA ", a five-pointed star and the letters" S ", letters" G + C + P = D "and the numbers" 1921 ". This is an encrypted entry. The code itself is very simple. For example, for me, it took only half an hour to decipher it, but more on that later.

Semyon's military biography is also very interesting. Journalists Varsegovs failed to find his personal file in the archive. They found everything except the personal file. According to the registration cards, it is clear that Junior Lieutenant Zolotarev was assigned to the infantry. But he served in a sapper unit, even was a pontoon. For those who did not serve in the army, I inform you that the pontoon is such a hollow and air-filled object that is connected to others like it. In this way, bridges are made, along which, then, military equipment and troops pass. A very dangerous profession. Since such crossings, as a rule, are made under hurricane fire of the enemy. Semyon had several medals, he even had the Order of the Red Star. A military order, which, just like that, was not given to anyone at the front. If you deal with the registration card, it becomes clear that the award list was signed by the general, who oversaw the work of saboteurs and military intelligence. This means that Zolotarev's entire registration card is a big, as they say now, lime tree. Semyon never served in the infantry, nor was he a saboteur, as various researchers try to prove. Semyon served in the barrage detachment. And he ended the war in SMERSH. SMERSH is a number of counterintelligence services independent of each other. There were three SMERSH People's Commissariats in total. One was subordinate to the People's Commissariat of Defense, the second to the Navy, one to the People's Commissariat of Internal Affairs and People's Commissar L. Beria. Zolotarev served in the department of Beria. But until 1943, Zolotarev served in the barrage detachment. And in 1943 he was transferred to SMERSH. This is proved by a tattoo, a five-pointed star and the letters "C" (SMERSH). Apparently, the tattoo was filled when Semyon was sent from the barrage detachment to SMERSH. Stalin signed a decree on the organization of SMERSH in April 1943, from that moment on, they began to look for personnel for this new service in all fonts. Zolotarev was perfect for this organization.

For many years they have been trying to solve a very simple tattoo of Semyon. For the first time, her description was published in the materials of the autopsy of Zolotarev. A tattoo with the words: “GS“DAERMMUAZUAYA.”The decoding is as follows: GS (apparently ready to shoot) (at) the scum (by) the decree I (A. A) Ready to shoot at the scum by decree (there are probably initials AA) Let me remind everyone that Semyon was introduced to everyone as Alexander, and his patronymic was Alekseevich. Scum is deserters, marauders, traitors and spies. The same "contingent" which was actively supervised by our valiant barrage detachments. With a decree it is even easier. order "On measures to strengthen discipline and order in the Red Army and prohibit unauthorized withdrawal from combat positions" or in common parlance "Not a step back!" - Order No. 227 of the People's Commissar of Defense of the USSR I. V. Stalin of July 28, 1942. It was then that the barrage detachments appeared. They put machine guns in the backs of Russian soldiers, and when they showed an unpatriotic desire to flee from positions. That detachments fired at the fleeing wars to defeat. True, sometimes the detachments themselves, too, were forced to participate in clashes with the Germans. So Semyon was a real hero.

Other parts of the tattoo: "G + S + P = D". There are a lot of options here. But only one fits. These are the names of his possible friends. And how to explain the numbers "1921"? This is the year of birth of Semyon. He was born exactly in 1921.

What is the meaning of this tattoo? This is a kind of security certificate. By them, the soldiers and officers of the blocking detachments recognized their own. Of course, this is just my guess. But she, quite well, explains the presence of such tattoos on the deceased tourist Zolotarev. And further. Apparently, the one who killed Semyon could recognize him personally. Very little time has passed since the war. The participants in the war were still young and full of energy. The one who stood behind the advancing suicide bombers had a very unusual appearance. Therefore, if someone survived in this meat grinder, then he could very easily recognize Zolotarev. And what happened next, we will never know. So, this could be another version of the death of Igor Dyatlov's group.
