The previous publication on the Education 2030 vision received a wide response.

The proclaimed abolition of schools and teachers, textbooks and assessments, as well as the planned elimination of the text "as the dominant form of knowledge communication" and the introduction of total digitalization in the process of teaching children, aroused the keen interest of readers and a logical question: who is the author of this program?

Who is interested in destroying the domestic education system that we inherited from the Soviet past and which in the USSR has demonstrated its effectiveness for many decades?

Who benefits from the fact that our children are not able to learn anything more complicated than comics and cartoons, and their bodies become “interfaces for interacting with the digital environment”? Let's figure it out together.

I have already noted earlier that all the sources that were used to prepare the Education 2030 project are foreign. This is not surprising.

It turns out that this education reform program was prepared by the international Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). The full title of this project is “The Future of Education and Skills: Education 2030”.

Russian SEOs simply translated this study into Russian and slightly adapted it to the specifics of our country. It is assumed that education in Russia should be built according to a single international standard, a model generally binding for all countries, which was developed by OECD specialists.

In this regard, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development itself, its activities and relations with the Russian Federation are of great interest.

So, the OECD, created by Western states after the Great Patriotic War to coordinate projects for the economic reconstruction of Europe under the Marshall Plan, today consists mainly of NATO member countries and gives recommendations to the national governments of the states of our planet on their implementation of socio-economic policies, both in internal and in international affairs.

The OECD work plan for the year is determined by the member states. The work of the OECD itself is funded by contributions from member countries. It is noteworthy that the largest payer of contributions is the United States, which forms 25% of the organization's budget. The total annual budget is approximately € 374 million.

Now, the fun part. Since 1994, the OECD has been cooperating with the Russian Federation, issuing to our country an annual program of work to achieve macroeconomic stabilization, enterprise restructuring and the development of the institutional and legal environment that ensure the construction of a developed market economy system.

Since 1996, Russia has repeatedly and unsuccessfully tried to become a member of the OECD, but each time we were refused. We fall short of the level of developed countries, and membership in the OECD is a kind of "rating indicator".

I hope I have answered the questions of who and in whose interests is the “optimization” of national education. However, this is my personal point of view. Please share your opinion in the comments.
