The Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology has created a vaccine against coronavirus. This was stated by the director of the center, Alexander Gintsburg, in an interview for the film "Dangerous Virus 5" by Naili Asker-zade on the Russia 1 TV channel.
He said that now the development of a vaccine is at the stage of preclinical trials, which will last about another month. At this stage, toxicity, reactogenicity and other criteria are determined, after the study of which it will be possible to start testing the vaccine in humans.
So he answered the question when the coronavirus vaccine will be registered and its production will begin. According to Gunzburg, the vaccine will be injected into the right shoulder, but all Russians will not be able to receive it at the same time. Now the Ministry of Health is thinking how to implement this and what capacities can be freed up to maximally load them with vaccine production.
