55-year-old Filipino medicine man Angelito Oreta admitted that he regularly raids the cemetery, digs up graves and steals kneecaps from the dead.
According to Oreta, in this way he provides himself with "spiritual protection."
Oreta's statement was confirmed by his numerous fans and told the details that this requires fresh burials, and the healer uses a sharp scalpel to remove the kneecaps.
After cutting out the bones from the remains, the healer takes them home and boils them in coconut oil for several days to remove all particles of flesh.
During this process, he also offers prayers to the previous owners of these bones.
