Most schoolchildren suffer from loneliness and cannot live without social media. These are the results of a poll conducted by the All-Russian Popular Front. The study covered almost 80 regions of Russia. What is the reason for this state and behavior of adolescents. Nikolai Govorin, a psychologist, deputy chairman of the State Duma committee on health protection, shared his opinion with Pravda. Ru.

- This is a big problem. The child's personality is formed in the process of interaction with the outside world. Here, it is the emotional participation of the environment where the person is formed that is of enormous importance. When our children are surfing the Internet, social networks are a substitutionary, surrogate form of communication. That is, when 90% of communication takes place on the Internet, this is not normal.

Why is it dangerous in the future?

- It will be difficult for such teenagers to build human, not virtual relationships. The ability to react to conflicts, as well as to get out of them, to sacrifice something - this is the gamut of psychological characteristics, without which the aggregate personal adaptive potential is imperfect.

The personalities of children who do not leave the Internet are formed through violent games, which then manifests itself in life. The child is becoming more and more autistic. It is difficult for such a child in reality to be friends and communicate with other boys and girls. This is a problem that we must tackle very seriously, including within the framework of safety, school medicine.

I believe that training sessions are needed so that we teach our children the formation of these communication skills. Because this is the most important thing. After all, a person is different from others - he has verbal contact with people, he has the ability to communicate.

The Internet and social networks are our reality. Is it possible to somehow minimize their negative impact?

- Such issues should be discussed with parents, courses should be introduced into school curricula. This topic cannot be hushed up. Needs to be discussed to help children grow up harmonious. At the same time, no one says that the Internet should be abandoned. But Internet addiction must be fought.
