Scientists have no doubt that the environment is being cleansed as a result of the anti-coronavirus restrictive measures taken.
Even the not the most stringent self-isolation regime introduced on Earth in connection with the pandemic demonstrates: the planet is really being cleansed. It turned out that people - and even then not all - just need to hide, and some enterprises - to stop in order to start recovering the environment they had spoiled.
That's really true: "fewer people - more oxygen." The validity of this Russian folk wisdom was confirmed by British scientists from the University of East Anglia. The data they have collected indicate that there is less carbon dioxide in the Earth's atmosphere. It is becoming noticeable - by 17 million tons per day.

According to The Daily Mail, referring to the publication of scientists in the journal Nature Climate Change, since the beginning of the pandemic and by the end of April 2020, CO2 emissions have decreased globally by more than a billion tons. Most of all in this sense "tried" China, the USA, Europe and India, which did not add 242, 207, 123 and 98 million tons, respectively. They didn’t give it up not of their own free will, of course, but as a result of the restrictive measures taken.
A little earlier, the European Space Agency (ESA) reported positive shifts in the environmental situation, which released images from its Copernicus Sentinel-5P environmental monitoring satellites.
The pictures showed: in the air of European cities, for example, the concentration of nitrogen dioxide fell sharply - in Paris by as much as 54 percent.
The content of nitrogen oxides in the air over large European cities has noticeably decreased.

Experts complain that nature's rest is temporary. Because there are no structural changes. They say that all the rubbish will return when industry and transport will return to their former strength. It's a pity. If we continue in the “same spirit” for at least 30 years, then it would be possible to stop global warming. At least partially. The "measures" being taken now are exactly what is needed on a global scale.
