The southwestern regions of China have been hit by harsh weather conditions since March 22 - hail, heavy rains, strong winds and snow. Natural events have caused widespread damage and destruction, especially in Hubei, Jiangxi, Sichuan and Guizhou provinces, according to The Watchers.

A massive hail on March 22-23 hit houses, cars and crops in many areas of southwestern Guizhou province. According to eyewitnesses, some of the hailstones were the size of a hen's egg. The storm lasted about 40 minutes.

According to local residents, the storm damaged the tiles on the roofs of many houses. The harvest was severely damaged.

In Jiangxi Province, a stormy wind on March 23 uprooted trees and cut down power lines.

On March 25, heavy hail took place in Sichuan province, in particular in the city of Chongqing. Severe flash floods have been reported as well as significant crop damage.
