Blind people can sometimes dream. This can be associated with eye movement, the function of which is produced in the brain.
Scientists noted that all people dream of dreams, regardless of their vision. Thus, the blind see the same stories as the sighted, but their content may differ slightly. In dreams, people visualize images, but a number of other factors join them: fear, aroma, taste. In the process of studying blind people, scientists saw that most often their dreams are associated with movement, to which hearing is connected. In addition, they often experienced fear in their dreams. Blind women, more often than not, can taste or smell in their dreams, while men hear sounds and experience pain. However, in the dreams of this category of people, in contrast to healthy people, there is always no aggression.
Note that people born without sight cannot dream. If the problem was not formed earlier than four years old, then visual images may appear during sleep.
