The man with the initials SL contacted the researcher of unusual creatures Lon Strickler and told him the story of what happened to him literally on the eve of October 10, 2018.

SL and a friend went hunting in the forest in the evening near Lebanon, Lynn County, Oregon. Deer and other herbivores are found in this forest, and nothing is said about the presence of large predators.

In the forest, a man suddenly discovered the skull of some animal and he immediately realized that it was not a deer skull and generally not a wild animal's skull, but a sheep's or a goat's skull.

The find impressed him so much that he decided to take this skull with him and show it to other people. The fact is that no goats or sheep have ever been seen in this forest, even wild ones, and the nearest farms with domestic sheep and goats were five miles away (8 km). And what predator could eat this sheep?

And just as SL and his friend were already returning to their car, the hunters heard three very strange sounds in a row from the nearby bushes. It was like someone was saying the word "Oops!"

The hunters could not make out anything in the bushes, but the sounds were so close that it was clear that the creature that made them was very close to them.

Here the men were really scared. Someone ate a sheep and he is probably already hunting them themselves! They ran towards the car and quickly drove out of the forest.

SL says that he has hunted in the area for many years and that this was the first time he found a sheep's skull there and heard sounds like this. He also said that the sounds were very deep and guttural, and they seemed threatening to them.

When SL came to his senses, he decided to contact the researcher of anomalous creatures Lon Strickler, as he is very popular in the United States. The hunter told him this story and said that he was sure that the sheep was kidnapped from a private farm and devoured by the Yeti, and left the skull for himself as a trophy. And the sounds in the bushes were also made by the yeti, possibly trying to scare people who entered its territory.

Strickler, in turn, discussed this case with his colleague Timothy Renner, who is studying Bigfoot in Pennsylvania. And Renner told him that he himself very often finds gnawed deer or raccoon skulls planted on tree branches or placed in some order on stones. In his opinion, big feet can really be so entertained.

Strickler also noted that there had been regular reports of Yeti sightings from Lynn County in the past.
