On February 17, 1987, for 1 hour 20 minutes and 50 kilometers, a balloon with a diameter of about 4 meters "dragged" train No. 1702 and "saved" 300 kilograms of diesel fuel for railway workers (Fomin Y. A. "Anatomy of Miracles …". M.: " Prometheus.”1990). It can be imagined as a "big poltergeist" (there is a version that in the nature of ball lightning and poltergeist there is much in common)
I want to show that on 02/17/87 people met a soulless blind element, like snow, wind, ice, hurricanes or earthquakes.
Candidate of Psychological Sciences E. K. Ageenkova, summing up the results of scientific research in Belarus, noticed that about 90% of UFOs (usually luminous balls) were observed near railways, power lines, military units, large cities or in the vicinity of tectonic faults. One might think that UFOs here serve as accumulators of the energy of surrounding physical fields.
In number 8 "Youth Techniques" for 1989, the scientific observer Vadim Orlov published a calculation according to which the power of the UFO ahead of the train # 1702 was comparable to the power of the locomotive. This calculation is based on the property of electrophony, which is also inherent in some fireballs (on the "meteoric" hypothesis of the mechanism of the formation of UFOs and "miraculous icons" in the fields in southern England: Calculation of a possible source of a response to Arecibo's message
Known calculations of scientists of the Crimean Federal University named after Vernadsky (Simferopl), according to which ball lightning and UFOs, including a fireball over the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on April 26, 1986, had common non-specific natural causes.
The same reasons, as it turned out, are visible in the origin of "divine revelations" and individual man-made disasters, including the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on April 26, 1986. Just as the motion of the moon affects the movement of huge masses of water and the climate, and the rotation of Jupiter is obviously somehow related to the 11-year cycles of the Sun's activity.
The general picture is complemented by an obvious parallel between the change in the number of sunspot groups and the change in the strength of hurricanes or in connection with a change in the number of "intelligent contacts of the third kind" (see figure with diagram and table below)! - Element!
Certain parallels between UFOs and "divine revelations" were also seen by E. K. Ageenkova: “Now in Italy there has been a whole series of contacts, but … with the Mother of God. It is known that the lifetime of ball lightning over a sufficiently large interval is linearly dependent on the diameter of ball lightning.
In Belarus, UFOs (usually balls) were observed at a distance within 5 kilometers from tectonic faults.
Therefore, I will try to measure the unknown by the unknown, assuming that the size and operation of spherical UFOs is determined by the size of the conditional "zone of interest" of these UFOs.
CONDITION AND SOLUTION OF THE PROBLEM:
- The hypothesis of Doctor Phys.-Math. Sciences P. L. Kapitsa: ball lightning exists due to the energy of a thundercloud. Let us assume that the distance from the earth to the lower electrically charged layer of the troposphere is roughly 1.5 kilometers on average.
- The width of the “zone of interest” of the UFO (EK Ageenkova) is conventionally assumed to be 5 + 5 = 10 kilometers.
- The length of the "zone of interest" of the UFO ball 17.02. 1987 with a diameter of 4 meters is 50 kilometers.
- Then the volume of the "zone of interest" is roughly equal to 50 * 10 * 1.5 = 750 cubic kilometers. Or 75 * 10 16 cm 3.
- M. Samoilenko and M. Varitsky on April 26, 1986 determined the value of the decrease in the power of radioactive radiation due to the appearance of a spherical UFO with a diameter of about 7 meters above the Chernobyl NPP: 3000 - 800 = 2200 mlr / hour
- Calculated per 1 meter of the diameter of the ball above the Chernobyl NPP, roughly: 2200/7 = 314 mlr / hour * meter
- For a ball with a diameter of 4 meters conditionally: 314 * 4 = 1256 mlr / hour = 1.256 r / hour
- One X-ray is the dose of radiation at which in 1 centimeter of cubic air at n. at. ions are formed in 1 electrostatic unit of electricity. One X-ray corresponds to an absorbed radiation energy of 0.114 erg / cm 3. For a UFO ball with a diameter of 4 meters roughly: 1.256 r / hour * 0.114 erg / cm 3 = 0.143 erg / cm 3 * hour
- In the volume of the "zone of interest" of the UFO ball on February 17, 1987 with a diameter of 4 meters (item 4), the amount of absorbed energy per hour: (0.143 erg / cm 3 * hour) * (75 * 10 16 cm 3) = 10.7 * 10 16 erg / hour
- The amount of absorbed energy in the "zone of interest" of a UFO ball with a diameter of 4 meters on February 17, 1987 for 1 hour 20 minutes roughly: (10.7 * 10 16 erg / hour) * (1.33 hour) = 14.3 * 10 16 erg = 14.3 * 10 9 joules
- The specific heat of combustion of diesel fuel is 4.67 * 10 7 joules / kilogram. For the case of a UFO ball on February 17, 1987, roughly: (14.3 * 10 9 J) / (4.67 * 10 7 J / kg) = 310 kg of diesel fuel !!! Which corresponds well to the amount of "fuel saved" in the case of the movement of train # 1702 on February 17, 1987, behind the UFO.
CONCLUSIONS:
It can be assumed that in the case of a UFO over the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and a UFO in front of train # 1702, the same physical stereotype of mechanical action worked. That is, the main meaning of this action is the absorption, accumulation of the energy of the surrounding physical fields.
Since the power of the UFO on February 17, 1987, according to the calculation of Vadim Orlov, was akin to the power of a locomotive, one can think that the physical meaning of this action consisted in a MIRROR reflection of the "structure" of the railway (in the volume of the conditional "zone of interest" of the UFO in the course of the process of absorbing the energy of the surrounding physical fields).
The mirror hypothesis of the "mind" of a UFO (echo) with the least contradictions allows one to explain:
- the significance of the formation of UFOs over the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and next to other energy-rich man-made objects;
- the motives of the hypothesis that the "mind" of a UFO (or poltergeist) is a material embodiment of human thoughts (thought forms);
- the origin of "icons not made by hands" in the fields of southern England in August 2000-2002 (link above);
- UFO mimicry or the eternal problem from the ufological bestseller:

Probably purposeful, consistent ("reasonable") actions and forms of UFOs, UFO "interest" in humanity - all this is initially determined by the thermodynamic orientation of the evolution of life on Earth, mechanically, like the efficiency of a locomotive:
