Wars in the world
For 2017, Nostradamus predicted an armed conflict between Turkey and Iran. At first, it will be a local war, the advantage in which, ultimately, will be on the side of Iran. This event is described by the fortuneteller in the almanac of 1565, where he spoke of "deadly war." He designated its participants as owners of turbans of various colors - blue (and these are worn by the Turks) and white (this is traditional for the Iranians).
In the future, the Turkish side may try to use this war for its expansion into Europe. According to Nostradamus, the Turks will try to lay the path of their army through Africa. And that's where they get bogged down and forced to return.
Among other things, hostilities between Islamists and Christians will continue in 2017. But, it is true, it is impossible to assert with certainty whether these will be the conflicts that we are already witnessing today, or new ones unleashed.

Geopolitical predictions of Nostradamus concern primarily Germany and Italy. In these countries, the soothsayer saw a change of leaders. These events are described in the 87th and 16th quatrains of the II Century. About the "German prince" he wrote that his reign will end. Moreover, we can definitely say that we are talking here about Angela Merkel, since in the quatrain (87) the soothsayer says that it will be a "lady". The reason to assert that she will be removed is the phrase of Nostradamus in the same quatrain: “her time is no longer worshiped”. As for the Italian leadership, the 16th quatrain says: on the territory of Italy - "in Naples, Palermo, Sicily, Syracuse" - "new tyrants" will appear.
By the way, there is a possibility that world leaders will try to fight with these new Italian rulers by joint efforts. In the same 16th Quatrain of the Second Century, which deals with the aggressive policy in Italy, there is a list of the capitals of states and localities, the heads of which will be ready to take on this duty and responsibility. These are Great Britain, Belgium, Iran. Moreover, the predictor will read them success. True, it will be achieved with great blood; Nostradamus writes about the "great hecatomb", that is, in fact, about significant human casualties.
In international relations, disregard for the letter of the law will increase. Plus, the governments of some countries that determine world politics will enter a period of serious crisis. Key norms and regulations on which the modern political system of the world is based will begin to be ignored openly. "Master's degrees will condemn … useless laws" - wrote Nostradamus in the 47th quatrain of the 1st century.
Natural disasters and ecology
Some "big city" will be "disturbed by the waters." This deluge will be preceded by the appearance of some ugly creature. Translators see a direct connection between these two circumstances (the appearance of a freak and the flood), believing that Nostradamus points to it in the 86th quatrain of the V century. He probably believed that an ugly creature is a symbol manifested in the physical plane by higher powers to prevent and anticipate the punishment of people with water. The consequence of the flood, says Nostradamus, will be the loss of power and status by the leaders of the country in which this happens (the "greats" will find themselves "somewhere in exile").
But in France, on the contrary, there will be a significant shortage of water. Perhaps the reason for this will be the pollution of water bodies. Because of this, there will be great unrest ("great rage"). Moreover, especially among the military. People from the regions that find themselves in the problem zone, most likely, will have to be evacuated by sending them on ships "along the Rhone". Such a picture emerges from the 71st quatrain of the V Century.
In addition, humanity runs the risk of facing the problem of the "great hunger". In the 67th quatrain of the first century, the soothsayer declares that at first its foci will arise sporadically, but soon enough they will spread to many regions of the planet.
Nostradamus about Russia
Nostradamus has no whole quatrains dedicated to Russia in 2017. However, some of the researchers see indirect evidence of the involvement of our country in certain events described in the centuries and correlated precisely with the next year. In particular, it is argued that of all the countries involved in certain conflicts and processes, Russia will be the least affected.
In addition, it is Russia that will play the role of arbiter in many problems of the global order. This will further strengthen her authority in the world. But the United States will continue to experience recession and crisis. Which, however, can create for us a precedent of a military conflict with the EU, provoked, by the way, by the American leadership.
Some of the researchers of the prophecies of Nostradamus believe that he predicted for 2017 a tendency towards intensive development of Siberia. Attempts to resettle in this region can be undertaken en masse by residents of regions caught in the epicenter of military or natural disasters. There will be a lot of people killed and injured in these regions; and the stronger will be the desire of the survivors to leave the disadvantaged places of the planet. Experts believe that this will be the birth of the "cradle" of a new civilization in action. After all, the geographic location of this "cradle" is attributed to Russia.
Yes … Whatever you say, but reasons for optimism, according to Nostradamus, while humanity has little. However, life still goes on, and in 2017 it will also go on as usual. This will be expressed, for example, in the fact that mankind, perhaps, will be able to make another breakthrough in the energy sector, specifically in the use of solar energy. And also - it will manifest itself in medicine; surgeons will begin to transplant organs obtained by cloning much more efficiently. These predictions are also attributed to Nostradamus. And these interpretations of his prophecies should never be discounted; this predictor has many quatrains, in which he just describes scientific achievements and their use. So we will believe in the best, remembering that one important rule "works" in our life: if you believe in something very strongly,then it will certainly come true. This means that our future also depends to a certain extent on us and you as a whole and on each of us separately. And if we believe in the good and do on our part what is possible for its implementation, then we will almost certainly be able to direct events along a positive scenario for ourselves.
