Sacred manuscripts
The father of classical physics had neither a wife nor children, and therefore, after his death in 1727, his entire archive remained in the care of John Conduit, the husband of Newton's niece, married to the family of the Earl of Portsmouth. The manuscripts were kept in a chest in the Portsmouth house for almost a century and a half. The heirs quite rightly believed that this legacy was worth hundreds of thousands of pounds sterling, like the archives of Maxwell, Faraday and other great scientists. They tried repeatedly to sell the manuscripts.
The possibility of acquiring Newton's archive was considered by employees of the Cambridge Library, the British National Museum and other reputable institutions, but after a cursory acquaintance with the manuscripts, they invariably refused to buy. Finally, in 1936, Newton's archive was auctioned off at Sotheby's. One part of it was acquired by the famous economist Lord John Maynard Keynes, the other, a large part - by the Jewish scholar Abraham Shalom Yehuda, who lived in Egypt.
It soon became clear why potential buyers shied away from the manuscripts like hell from incense. Keynes, having studied his acquisition, published the scandalous article "Another Newton", in which he argued that the great physicist considered himself primarily a mystic and theologian, believed in God, but not quite in a Christian way, since, for example, he denied the doctrine of the Holy Trinity. And in general, his handwritten heritage did not fit in any way with the image of a materialist, a supporter of "pure science", an adherent of testing theory by practice, which was created by his biographers.
Yehuda studied the Bible. He was familiar with Newton's book "Chronology of Ancient Kingdoms" and therefore hoped to find new ideas for his research in the acquired manuscripts. After moving to the United States, he showed the archive to his friend Albert Einstein. Friends tried to donate the manuscripts first to Harvard and then to Yale University, but both temples of science refused categorically. Even Einstein's authority did not help.

It was only in 1951 that Abraham Yehuda, already terminally ill, decided to donate Isaac Newton's archive to the National Library in Jerusalem. The library accepted it with gratitude. But after Yehuda's death, his successors began a lengthy trial, and as a result, the manuscripts did not arrive in Jerusalem until the late 1960s.
Stephen Snobelen's discovery
The huge manuscript archive of Isaac Newton, numbering millions of storage units, was kept in storerooms for a long time, then it was digitized and turned into microfilms. Research teams in the UK, Israel and Canada had access to them. And one day, a Canadian professor at the University of Halifax, Stephen Snobelin, while looking through microfilms, came across the text of a manuscript with a prophecy about the end of the world. It is difficult to say whether he was lucky, or whether he looked more attentively than his colleagues. Studying Newton's manuscripts, Snobel became convinced that alchemy, theology and the occult were in general in his foreground.
And "serious" discoveries were the result of this "obscurantism". For example, the law of universal gravitation appeared not at all because of the notorious apple, supposedly falling on the head of a genius, but because Newton knew about the concept of attraction of one element to another, professed by alchemists. And the famous physical theory of the absolute space and time of Newton, according to Snobelen, is based on the theological concepts of the great scientist. He believed that absolute space is the abode of God, the form of existence of his universal Spirit. And absolute time is the infinite duration of the Divine presence. Moreover, Newton believed that thanks to the Divine structure of the Universe, any impact is instantly transmitted to any of its points without the participation of matter, which, by the way, is not excluded by some modern physicists,studying vacuum and quantum mechanisms.
Newton studied the Bible all his life. He believed that the message of the higher powers about the future of the world is encrypted in the Holy Scriptures. I dreamed of creating a system that would allow using the Bible to predict this very future. But with a special mystical trepidation he treated the Book of the Prophet Daniel, which predicted the coming to Earth of Christ, his death and resurrection. Newton was convinced that God had chosen the prophet Daniel just to interpret the future. And to see what is coming, you have to decipher every word of his book. This is what Newton did for almost 50 years, considering himself also the chosen one of God - specifically for decoding. Calculating the date of the end of the world mathematically, he wrote four and a half thousand pages in words and formulas.
Towards the end of time and times and half a time
The date of the end of the world - 2060 - Newton wrote on a piece of paper in 1704. How did this date come about? Studying the Book of Daniel, the scientist paid special attention to chapter 12, verse 7: “And I heard how a man in linen clothes, who was above the waters of the river, raising his right and left hands to heaven, swore to those who live forever that by the end of time and times and half a time, and after the complete overthrow of the power of the holy people, all this will be accomplished. " The words "towards the end of time and times and half time" Newton interpreted as 1260 years - the countdown to the Day of Judgment associated with the second coming of Christ. He considered the initial date to be 800, when the Holy Roman Empire was created by Charlemagne. This is how the religious supremacy of the Pope merged with the political supremacy of Charlemagne. To this date, Newton added 1260 years - and the total was 2060.
Newton writes that a world war will break out between 2020 and 2060. Then there will be a pestilence, and this will lead to the destruction of a significant part of humanity. But at the end of the tribulation, the kingdom of the Messiah will come.
Third temple
Newton believed that the Temple of Solomon, built in Jerusalem in 950 BC and destroyed by the Babylonians almost 400 years later, was created by divine design. 70 years later, on the ruins of the First Temple, the second was built according to the Old Testament. Jesus visited this temple. But it was also destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. Newton believed that, as stated in the Bible, the Jews would return to Israel and rebuild their temple, the third in a row, at the end of time. The great scientist all his life tried to unravel the mystery of the Temple of Solomon, since then it would be possible to accurately predict the further course of events. He spent a lot of time trying to recreate the design of the temple based on the directions of the Bible. Newton believed that this project would also be the spark of God's creation.
In the manuscript, Newton mentions the year 609, when the Romans gave up some of their power to the Church, as well as 1290. If we add up these numbers, we get 1899 - the time of the revival of Zionism (when the Jews, expelled by the Romans from the Holy Land, began to return to Israel). By the way, the scientist predicted the emergence of the State of Israel, about which the prophet Daniel says only the following: "… and the people will return, and the streets and walls will be built, but in difficult times …" And vague terms are indicated: "seven weeks and sixty-two weeks." Making calculations, Newton accurately determined the year - 1948.
