Residents of the small village of Pu Hong in the Thai province of Kalasin are frightened by the "widow's ghost" who allegedly kills local men.
To protect themselves from the ghost, the men of the village began, among other things, to paint their nails with red varnish. They hope that the ghost will mistake them for women and not kill them.
Over the past three weeks, five local residents have died at once, and although there are two men and three women among the victims, everyone talks only about a ghost - a man hunter.
The first two victims were from the same family and died in a very strange way, they just suddenly dropped dead. Another victim was a teenage girl who died in an accident while riding a moped. The details of the death of the other two people are not known by the police, fearing even greater panic.
The local head of Pongpipat Pukrongtung complains that the villagers are incredibly superstitious and see something unnatural and sinister in a series of five deaths and do not believe that it was just a coincidence.

Pop is also very fond of attacking weak people, which are children or, more often, the elderly. Pop gets into their bodies and eats them from the inside. He is often depicted as a cannibal woman.
