Alexei Klimov, a local historian from Severodvinsk, offers a universal way: to remain calm, as when meeting with any large animal. If, of course, it is possible to keep calm not far from the giant two and a half meters tall. And a meeting with a forest man, in itself, does not bode well. Our operator, for example, after leaving the scene on Solza fell seriously ill - and we did not see the animal itself. We noticed only his traces, but an unclear silhouette, and that one is on the video.

Our request for a comment did not upset Alexey Ivanovich and did not make him laugh: Klimov answered questions related to the video published by us and the stories of local residents. Have any of our mocking and, no doubt, highly experienced contemporaries seen even a hare in the forest? Not? But this does not deny the very existence of hares in the forests and suburbs of Severodvinsk. And there are many wild beasts here, and in recent years there have been more. This is evidenced by the aforementioned frequent cases of the arrival of predators in the city.

According to one of the versions about the origin of the Yeti, told by Alexei Klimov BK, the "forest man" may be a mutant bear. And meetings in the northern forests with this mysterious creature occur with some frequency.

Let's admit here a risky historical version. Why in Komi the testimonies of meetings with the "forest people" and stories about their habits were preserved better than in our country, and even became part of the folk tradition? Because those places were farther from the Scandinavian and Novgorod civilization and colonization. Simply put, the ushkuyniks and merchants didn’t really want to go into the wilderness. That is, from the Pomor territory, where the Yeti could exist from time immemorial, this lover of solitude and peace was driven by aggressive, numerous and noisy foreigners.

Do you think the St. Nicholas-Karelian Monastery was made so high and strong only to protect it from attacks from the sea? And they settled closer to the water (in order to take refuge on the sea island of Yagry on occasion) out of love for the sea wind? Alien people remained aliens, and were afraid of everything. And most of all they feared the local and the unknown. Consequently, they could be afraid of meeting with the "forest man". The nest of which could well be located even at the site of the current administration of Severodvinsk. The colonialists reached this swamp - they pushed the yeti further to the south-west, to the Solzensky and Verkhovsky tracts. Where few dare to look now.

By the way, the current municipality attaches great importance to the development of tourism - and absolutely rightly so! The outskirts of Severodvinsk are simply replete with old, ancient and ancient artifacts, ranging from ground "outlets" of the Vendian period, ending with mineral and salt springs, paths of Old Believers and narrow-gauge railways of German prisoners of war - all this must only be served correctly and "tasty".

The only strange thing is that until now nothing is said about Bigfoot, which could very well become a local tourism brand. "Severodvinsk. Lair of the Pomor Yeti ". Sounds the same! Maybe this development is already underway, only for the time being it has not been disclosed. Which is also absolutely true.
