An unidentified animal strangled 15 rabbits on a plot next to a residential building in the Aviator village of Barnaul on the night of Friday, June 29.
The owner of the rabbits, Inna, spoke about the incident. “We live in the Aviator village. Our rabbits are fenced in with an iron cage, at the bottom of the lattice, the fence around the perimeter is completely iron. That is, this monster could only get through the fence. Our bedroom windows overlook exactly these cells. At night I heard the rabbits pounding their paws. I woke up my husband. And then the rabbits began to squeak. Rabbits are very quiet animals and they make such sounds only in exceptional cases. We went out into the street and just turned from behind the house when we saw a shadow. In size - like a very large dog, - said the interlocutor.
Inna clarifies that the cages with their pets are above the ground. “One of them has a hollowed-out floor from below. A wall has been torn out in the second cell. Thirteen small rabbits and two large rabbits were strangled,”the interlocutor adds.
The rabbit owners called the police. Already in the course of communication with law enforcement officers, the Chupacabra was mentioned - a creature unknown to science, which is the character of a large number of stories about the killing of various animals.
According to Inna, the police found a clump of gray wool on the fence not far from the scene of the incident, and quite large footprints in the neighboring area.
As a result, the owners of the dead rabbits drew up an application for the capture of an unidentified animal.
