An unnamed 13-year-old resident of Moscow recently felt a strange lump in one of his testicles. It didn't hurt, but it stood out noticeably under the skin.
When the boy's parents took him to the district hospital, the doctor suspected testicular cancer and urgently sent the child to the city's Center for Reproductive Health of Children and Adolescents. They carried out a complete examination and revealed in the testicle something similar in shape and structure to a kidney stone.
The boy began to prepare for an urgent operation under the personal guidance of the head of the Center, Dmitry Igorevich Tarusin. And when the surgeon opened the testicle, he found a large white tooth in it! It turned out to be the 7th tooth of the lower jaw, which was missing in the mouth of the young patient.
According to the website of the Morozov Children's Hospital, apparently during early embryonic development in the womb there was some kind of malfunction and instead of the lower jaw, 7 molars somehow went to the area of formation of the testicles of the embryo. This happened at about 16 weeks of gestation.
In dentistry, there have been cases where teeth grew in the lungs and other parts of the body, but this case with the testicles is unique.

Now the boy has already recovered from this operation. Doctors at the Morozov hospital hope that this incident will not affect his reproductive health in any way.
