9-year-old Belgian Laurent Simons, who lives in the Netherlands, will have to receive a bachelor's degree from the Technical University of Eindhoven in December. It is worth saying that the young prodigy began his studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in March this year at the age of eight. The course that ordinary children take in 3 years, the guy will finish in 10 months.
At this stage, the best universities in the world offer Laurent to receive an education from them, but Simons' parents have not yet revealed which university he will go to. The child prodigy himself says that he wants to continue studying electrical engineering - to get a Ph. D. - and at the same time study medicine. The boy explains that in the future he wants to engage in the creation of artificial organs. His grandparents have heart disease.

For a fairly long period of time, the boy's parents did not believe that their son was a child prodigy. Lydia and Alexander Simons, both doctors, worked in the Netherlands while Laurent was raised by her grandparents in Belgium.
However, then Laurent's parents were convinced of his ability to "absorb knowledge like a sponge." The IQ of the young genius is 145.
He added that he enjoyed studying with Laurent a lot.
Outside of school hours, the guy is the most ordinary child who plays Fortnite and Minecraft, watches TV shows on Netflix and maintains his blog on Instagram - at the moment, more than 33 thousand followers have already subscribed to the young man's account. Despite the admiration of others, Laurent himself considers himself lazy, since he does not like to play sports.
