8-year-old Belgian Laurent Simon from the city of Bruges has become a kind of celebrity, having graduated from school in a year and a half and perfectly passed his final exams at the level of an 18-year-old. After 2 months of vacation, the child prodigy plans to enter the university. In which one, he has not yet decided, however, several prestigious European universities have announced that they are ready to accept such an amazing student.
Today the boy's IQ is 145, which makes him a genius. Experts predict that over the years, the level of his intelligence will be able to increase and reach the indicators of Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking.
Simon tells reporters that he would like to become an astronaut, surgeon or programmer in the future. The gifted Belgian's favorite subject is mathematics, but he also has a strong interest in medicine and advanced digital technology. The child devotes almost all his free time to study, reading or playing chess.
According to the boy's parents, he was never interested in toys or communicating with peers. Despite the fact that Laurent grew up rather reserved, his father and mother are convinced that over time, their son will certainly catch up and make friends worthy of his interests.
