The legend of the Vajins - the supreme spiritual beings and creators of the Earth and humans - is one of the most intriguing and confusing legends of the Australian aborigines. The Wajin Land in northwest Australia is an area with unearthed evidence of a continuous ancient culture dating back over 60,000 years.
In our time, the peoples of the three tribes are the custodians of one of the most famous types of ancient visual arts. The most interesting thing about this art, displayed in the form of ancient cave paintings, is that the Vijins are depicted with white faces, no mouth, with huge black eyes and surrounded by a halo like a helmet wearing.
One of the theories of modern scientists trying to interpret these drawings is evidence of visiting alien civilizations in ancient times and the presence of direct contact with earthlings. The Vajin legends, passed down from generation to generation, detail events that may have taken place thousands of years ago.
The Wanjins were "celestial beings" or "spirits from the clouds" who descended from the Milky Way during their sleep and created the Earth and all its inhabitants. The Vazhins created and trained the natives, being for them Gods, they controlled everything that happened on land, in the sky and at sea. Today, the Vorora, Ngarinyin and Wunumbul Aboriginal tribes still worship Wanjina, with only a few people getting permission to paint them.

It is said that the Wanjin could punish those who broke the law with floods, lightning and cyclones, and it is believed that Wanjin paintings possess these powers, therefore, according to the Aborigines, they should always be approached and treated with respect.
