Japanese Defense Minister Geng Nakatani during a recent press conference spoke in detail about a possible alien attack on the Land of the Rising Sun. According to the official, his fellow citizens can sleep peacefully: UFOs have no chance against the Japanese Air Force, according to the Japan Times.
“When our military detects signs of UFOs, they usually launch fighters into the air and start observing,” Nakatani said.
The official added that sometimes the Air Force representatives turn on the alarm mode because of the strange, at first glance, objects that end up being birds or balloons.
“All UFOs discovered by the military were of terrestrial origin. I can state with full responsibility that the authorities of our country have never had to deal with aliens,”said the Japanese Defense Minister.
This is not the first time that Japanese authorities have made a statement about aliens and alien flying vehicles. In 2007, officials released a document stating that the Japanese government "does not confirm the existence of unidentified flying objects that may not have come from Earth."
