The world we perceive, including our own personality (Ego), is just a fantasy that seems real thanks to our desire to take it for reality.
Consciousness is our awareness of our "I", an analyzer of all our feelings, emotions, desires. From the point of view of materialism, human consciousness is a product of matter, a product of biochemical processes. From the point of view of idealism, consciousness is the ego, "I", spirit, energy, soul, traveling in the "space of options."

Human life, like any other movement of matter, is a chain of causes and effects. Any insignificant event can affect the turn of fate.
An effect in the "space of variants" is always close to its cause. One follows the other, so the sectors of destiny line up in the life line. A person's life flows measuredly along one line until an event occurs that changes the "scenario". Then fate makes a turn and moves to another line of life.
