This simple wooden house has been attracting tourists from all over the world for over 70 years. It was built by a resident of the California city of Santa Cruz, George Preser, when in 1940, while walking through the woods, he suddenly felt that the headaches that tormented him suddenly stopped.
Walking around the neighborhood, George Preser realized that the migraine was disappearing in the same place, in the clearing, but as soon as he went beyond the strange zone, his head began to ache again.
The surprised man built a small house on the hill and lived there until his death.
Now the unusual dwelling has become a museum. Scientists cannot explain the phenomena occurring in the anomalous zone of Preser. For example, why does the compass "confuse" the cardinal points here, and objects thrown down a slope in a strange way begin to roll not down, but up. Due to the incomprehensible curvature of the space inside the house, people have to stand at an angle of 45 degrees to the ground, and in the evenings, visitors to a unique place can hang in the air for a few seconds.
