A very strange incident happened in Missouri in August 2013. On the road, one of the motorists suddenly crossed the center line and crashed into a Mercedes driven by 19-year-old student Katie Lentz.

The girl in a couple of moments was trapped in a mangled cabin with broken legs. Rescuers, firefighters and an ambulance immediately went to the scene, and then for about 45 minutes people tried to extract the girl from the crushed car. Every minute the wounded girl in the car felt worse and worse, and the rescuers still could not cope with the metal.

Finally, rescuers called in a new group of firefighters with special equipment for cutting strong metal, but they still had to wait.

An hour after the accident, the girl asked people to pray with her. She was already preparing to die. And then a mysterious man in a priest's cassock suddenly appeared on the road.

“He walked up to the car with the girl and offered up a prayer,” said the head of the fire station, Raymond Read, “It was a Catholic priest. The girl immediately after this prayer calmed down and looked peaceful. And we also heard from him that we also need to stay calm and then our tools will work well."

Almost immediately after this prayer, a group of firefighters with new equipment finally arrived at the accident site and the girl was finally rescued from the crushed car.

The girl was quickly carried on a stretcher into a helicopter, and after that rescuers and other people from the accident site (there are more than 70 people) returned to the accident site and wanted to thank the priest for their support, but found no one. The man seemed to disappear into thin air. None of the more than 70 people saw him leave.

According to the descriptions of eyewitnesses, he was already a middle-aged man for 50 years. He was wearing the full vestments of a Catholic priest.

“We don't know where this guy came from,” a friend of Katie Lentz said, “We were looking for a priest, but no one saw him. We would like to thank him. We do not already know who it could be, maybe a priest, or maybe an Angel. But for Katie he was a real Savior."

It is reported that there is only one Catholic church in this place for three towns. At the same time, there was no one in it that matched the description.

Katie has undergone several surgeries for her broken legs, ribs and wrist, but with the support of friends, she recovered quickly. She also asked people to pray out loud as often as possible.

According to Karla Lentz, the girl's mother, she believes that it was an Angel in the guise of a priest, "because the Bible says that Angels live among us."

The driver who hit Katie was 26-year-old Aaron Smith, who was charged with drunk driving and other driving violations.
