Have you ever heard of the Betz family's metal sphere? Some researchers believe that this artifact is of extraterrestrial origin.
This story began at the end of the last century, when a family of ordinary American farmers discovered this artifact. It is a metal sphere. It is difficult to say whether this is a coincidence or not, but in 1974 a fire broke out in the Bettsev fields.
And after the fire, this ball was found. It is quite small - its diameter does not exceed 20 centimeters, and it weighs less than ten kilograms.
Surprisingly, the ball was almost perfectly shaped and perfectly polished, although it still had a few scratches and a very small bulge in the shape of a triangle. At first, the family assumed that another satellite of the USA or the USSR fell on them - after all, there was a cold war at that time.
But the fire did nothing to this artifact. For several weeks he was in the Betz house, after which he suddenly vibrated and began to make strange pulsating sounds.
It happened at the moment when one of the family members was playing the guitar. After that, the family began to do a variety of experiments on the sphere.

It was found that if you put the sphere on the floor, then it will roll to the place that is illuminated by the sun. Moreover, it is strange that this ball was rolling not in a straight line, but in some incomprehensible zig-zag.
And due to this trajectory, they never ran into obstacles, always rolling past them. As a result, Bettsy decided to turn to the military for help.
Military scientists analyzed the metal, after which it turned out that it contained a lot of an alloy of carbon iron and nickel. But what is interesting - the ratio of the component was in such a proportion that is not found on our planet.
In addition, the ball turned out to be empty inside, and the thickness of its walls was variable and ranged from 1.09 to 1.14 centimeters. The military passed the sphere through x-rays and saw that inside there were two more objects of exactly the same spherical shape.
But why, then, there was no noise at the moment when the ball rolled on the floor? The thing is that these objects were firmly fixed to the inner walls of the ball.
During one of the experiments, the military put the ball on a concrete slab, which was raised on one side, after which the ball began to roll … up the slab.
Scientists really wanted to saw the sphere, but the famous at that time researcher James Harder stopped them from this rash act, warning that inside the sphere there may be elements unknown to modern science.
And no one knows what will happen to them if they get into the atmosphere. The scientist suggested that even an atomic explosion is possible when it is opened. It is currently unknown where the sphere is.
It is only known that after numerous studies, the Betz family decided to take this artifact with them. However, soon all the Bettsy mysteriously disappeared, which is quite understandable - after all, state interests were already affected here. It's hard to say where is the truth and where is fiction, but the story is very interesting.
