In the last decades of the last century, when the confrontation between the USSR and the Western countries was growing, the discovery of strange objects in the world's oceans caused particular concern. Mutual suspicions arose about the development of top-secret military intelligence equipment and means that threaten the security of countries. Nobody succeeded in uncovering the secret of such phenomena, despite numerous attempts to study them and capture unusual objects.
Ghost submarines and objects taking off
Particular concern about the military superiority of the USSR arose in the United States, Argentina and the Scandinavian countries. In their territorial waters, strange deep objects were repeatedly discovered, striking with extraordinary maneuverability, fantastic speed of movement and invulnerability.
In 1972, hysterical publications appeared in the Norwegian press that Soviet submarines were entering the skerries and fjords on its territory, the purpose of which was to lay mines. It came to a military aggravation. The operation involved 40 NATO ships and aircraft carriers. Depth charges were dropped in the Norwegian Syltefjord area to destroy suspicious boats or force them to surface.

Soon, strange yellow and green aircraft appeared over the mountains, performing unthinkable maneuvers at great speed. Then all objects, including underwater ones, disappeared. All electronic equipment on anti-submarine ships was out of order.
In the 70s and 80s, it was reported that unknown submarines swam 15 times in the waters of Sweden.

The military showed the leadership of the Soviet Navy some kind of "evidence" of aggression (recordings of strange noises, photographic films). In the USSR, they replied that they would say "thank you" to the one who would catch and destroy the strange submarines.
Several times the sailors managed to photograph objects flying out from under the water, or yellow balls with an orange center, hovering above the surface. They were seen in the area of the Mediterranean Sea, the Faroe Islands, in the Pacific and Indian Ocean.
Mysterious Quakers
In the 70s, mysterious objects were seen in the waters of the Atlantic, emitting low-frequency sound vibrations, reminiscent of the croaking of frogs. Then the appearance of "Quakers" began to be reported from submarines sailing in other parts of the world's oceans.
Submariners recorded incomprehensible sounds, similar to croaking: * kwa-kva *, so they began to call their source Quakers or croak.
Now the Soviet military was already seriously alarmed, suggesting that there were "intrigues" of the United States. The following versions were put forward about the purpose of top-secret equipment:
- interference with Soviet submarines;
- facilitating navigation for American submarines;
- organization of a global detection system for the USSR underwater equipment;
- psychological pressure on Soviet submariners.
However, there were too many of these objects, they moved at impossible speeds, and the cost of the global network turned out to be astronomical. Therefore, such assumptions seemed dubious.
A special research group was formed to study the Quakers. The version about the biological nature of these objects was considered. However, no concrete results were obtained.
Fantastic glowing figures
Military and civilian sailors have repeatedly seen glowing circles, triangles and squares on the surface of the sea. Their light penetrated from great depths and was so strong that it was reflected from the clouds. In 1963, such a glow was observed in the Arabian Sea by the crew of the Soviet research vessel "Vladimir Vorobiev". On the water, 8 beams up to 200 m long were rotating counterclockwise at great speed. Half an hour later the “circle” disintegrated and disappeared. The radiation affected the psyche of people.

Currently, most researchers believe that mysterious objects are not military-technical devices. It even remains unclear whether all these strange phenomena are related. There is a possibility that the mysterious objects were not created on Earth.
