When I first saw it, I was just shocked! Then I looked for my jaw on the floor for another half an hour. Magnificent, monumental, almost forever! Every time I return to it, I am impressed!
This find is located in Lebanon, not far from the city of historical significance - Baalbek! The weight of the monolithic block is about 1000 tons, the length is about 21 meters. The shape of the block itself is not a parallelepiped, as is commonly believed. Most likely, it is a truncated prism, since the sides of both sides are not equal both to each other and to each other. Why exactly these values are a mystery to us. Maybe they did not have time to lead to equal parameters, maybe they planned so … Who knows. I stick to the second option, because in 2014 German and Levan archaeologists decided to excavate a stone from below and stumbled upon … Two, even more massive blocks, weighing about 2000 tons! And the most amazing thing is that under the South Stone there is a thin groove from the saw cut, but not through. This suggests that they tried to saw off the block, but the work was never finished!

These are the discoveries that took place in Lebanon, it is very interesting how and how such work was carried out. Even now, in order to lift at least a 1000-ton South Stone, more than 15 cranes are needed, also with a high lifting capacity. How they carved, processed and moved such incomprehensible objects is incomprehensible. And the most important question is who they are! Locals believe that a cyclopean civilization (in other words, giants) lived on this territory. Who knows, who knows … In any case, this race was either much larger and stronger than us, or with high technology!
