Eventually, Robbie was taken to a mental hospital, where, among traditional methods, the priests performed an exorcism on him. After only 30 sessions, the priests were satisfied with the results.

In 2001, a man named Kevin Mannis bought a wine cabinet at a sale. He found out that the closet was a family heirloom, the former owner of the furniture Havilah told him about this. It turns out that it once belonged to a Holocaust survivor. Upon learning that the wardrobe was of some value to the family, he offered not to sell it and leave it for posterity, but Havila said only: "We do not want it to be here." She also told Kevin that the closet was in her grandmother's sewing room and was never opened because it is said to be inhabited by a dybbuk, an evil spirit according to Jewish mythology.
