The Amytville Horror

The events of the film unfold in 1974, when an alarm call arrives at the police station. The caller reports that in the house of the De Feo family, six people were shot dead in their own beds.

On November 13, 1974, Ronald de Feo Jr. actually confessed to killing his parents and brothers, explaining that some "voices" had told him to commit the murders. A year later, another family moved to the residence - George and Katie Lutz along with their three children. After 28 days, the family left the house, claiming that they were being attacked by paranormal forces.

The minor daughter of a famous actress begins to behave strangely. Doctors suspect mental illness but cannot make an accurate diagnosis. But the invited priest does not agree with the opinion of the doctors - he is sure that the girl is possessed by the devil.
The film is based on the story of 12-year-old Robbie Mannheim, also known as Ronald Doe. According to the priest's stories, the boy tried to contact his deceased relative using a board for seances. Eventually, Robbie was taken to a mental hospital, where, among traditional methods, the priests performed an exorcism on him. After only 30 sessions, the priests were satisfied with the results.
The spell

A film directed by James Wan, released in screens in 2013. The plot of the film is based on the true story of two researchers of anomalous phenomena, the married couple Ed and Lorraine Warren. They are investigating the case of the "possessed" Annabelle doll.
Box of curse

According to the plot of the film, the girl finds at the fair in the neighboring courtyard a trinket that she has liked - a box. The main character becomes more and more attached to a new toy, and this attachment becomes like an obsession. Parents are trying to unravel the secret of the box, but it does not even occur to them that an evil spirit lives in the box.
In 2001, a man named Kevin Mannis bought a wine cabinet at a sale. He found out that the closet was a family heirloom, the former owner of the furniture Havilah told him about this. It turns out that it once belonged to a Holocaust survivor. Upon learning that the wardrobe was of some value to the family, he offered not to sell it and leave it for posterity, but Havila said only: "We do not want it to be here." She also told Kevin that the closet was in her grandmother's sewing room and was never opened because it is said to be inhabited by a dybbuk, an evil spirit according to Jewish mythology.
The curse of Annabelle

John Form found a wonderful present for his pregnant wife Mia - a rare vintage doll in a white wedding dress. But Mia's joy at the gift was short-lived.
The real story of Annabelle dates back to 1970, when a woman bought a doll as a present for her schoolgirl daughter. The girl was delighted with the toy and took it with her to college, but very soon she and her roommate felt that something was wrong in the room: the doll was living its own life.
Paranormal researchers Ed and Lorren Warren, taking up this case, came to the conclusion that an evil spirit was imprisoned in Annabelle. The doll is now in their Occult Museum in Connecticut. The doll sits behind a glass on which is written: "Caution, do not open!"
The girl next door
2007.
The boy David Moran in 1958 met his new neighbors Mag and Susan Lolin. The girls moved in with their aunt Ruth after their parents died. But her aunt turned out to be a psychopath who not only beat and mocked the girls, but also attracted her three sons to torture.
This is a slightly modified version of the story of Sylvia Likens, an Indiana girl who was murdered in 1965. She and her sister were left in the care of a family friend, Gertrude Banichevski, for whom two more "mouths" were too heavy a burden. Her children and the children of her neighbors beat Sylvia more than once, tied her up, force-fed her and subjected her to sexual violence.
Sylvia died, locked in a basement, at the age of 16 - from shock, exhaustion and cerebral hemorrhage.
Experiment "Obedience"

The bell rings in a cheap fast food restaurant. An unknown voice, posing as a police officer, informs the restaurant manager that one of the cashiers robbed a client.
The confused woman locks her in the back room and does whatever the Voice tells her to. The story actually took place in the state of Kentucky, in a famous fast food chain. Who would have thought it would be so disgusting?
Zodiac
2007.
The maniac has been keeping the whole of San Francisco at bay for 25 years. He is not afraid of anything and communicates with the authorities through reporters.
"Zodiac" - the nickname of the bloody maniac of the 60s. He watched the victims in parking lots and other deserted places, cracked down on them, and then smugly bombarded the police and the media with letters.
