Now few people remember this incident, but it really happened in the American White House under the presidency of George W. Bush. During a press conference in the Oval Office, one of the journalists asked the head of the United States a question: "Is it true that you are a member of the Skull and Bones secret society?" The public did not react to these words in any way - it happened at such events - the presidents were asked questions much more strange, and at the same time, as a rule, some answer was given to them. And if the presidents did not want or could not answer, they said: "No comment." But in this case, Bush's reaction to the question was unexpected: he, without saying a word, just walked out the door of the Oval Office. After a few more seconds, the presidential security officers silently jumped up to the taken aback journalist and almost by force took him out of the room. After that, George W. Bush returned to his seat - and the press conference continued as if nothing had happened before.
Don't cross the line
The topic of closed societies and religious orders has been given a lot of attention by world fiction at all times. Thus, in Anatoly Vinogradov's story "The Condemnation of Paganini," adherents of the Jesuit order persecute the Italian virtuoso violinist throughout Europe not only during his lifetime, but even after his death. In the famous trilogy by Alexandre Dumas about the Musketeers, one of his main characters, Aramis, even becomes a general of the same order. We meet members of the Masonic society, another secret organization, on the pages of the epic War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy, in the novel The Lamp of Methuselah by Viktor Pelevin, in Dan Brown's novel The Lost Symbol, as well as in dozens of Hollywood and even some Soviet movies. And the modern Russian writer Vasily Golovachev completely depicted in his books a hypothetical world government,a secret community, whose advisors, according to him, are included in the ruling elites of all states of the world. They control the entire earthly civilization in such a way that it cannot cross the line of global nuclear war and self-destruction.
But if the place and time of the appearance of Masonic lodges, most of the religious orders and other secret communities are usually lost in the depths of the centuries, then the date and city where the members of the organization under the cheerful name "Skull and Bones" first gathered can be called quite definitely.
Meeting in the "Tomb"
It is believed to be one of the oldest student secret societies, founded at Yale University in the United States in 1832. It was organized by senior student William Russell, who is supposed to have brought the idea from Germany, where he studied for some time. There is another version - it seems that it was Russell's answer to another prestigious student club "Phi Betta Kappa", which at one time did not accept him into its ranks. But in any case, the idea of the senior student was a success, and as a result, in 1833, William Russell, along with the future US President William Tufter and thirteen other closest friends, gathered at their residence on the university grounds, which they, for their own reason, gave the name "The Grave". The building with this name on the university grounds still exists, as does the Skull and Bones Society itself. According to its participants,it still includes only the national elite, immigrants from the Protestant Anglo-Saxon nobility.

Three generations of Bushes
According to the foreign press, many historical figures of the United States have emerged from the Skull and Bones Order (or simply Bones) over the past less than two centuries - senators, secretaries of state, attorneys general, chiefs of intelligence services, presidents of the Supreme Court, directors of major transnational companies and banks. In particular, three American presidents were members of this society, and the connection of the order with the Bush family has already become practically hereditary. Over the years, representatives of three generations of this surname became adherents of "Bones": Bush-grandfather (1917), Bush-father (1948) and Bush-son (1967). At one time, many of their relatives joined the organization: James Smith, Jonathan James and George Derek.
American journalists have joked more than once that all three generations of the Bushes, it turns out, came out of the same "Grave". By the way, as it turned out, John Kerry, who served as the head of the US Foreign Office under President Barack Obama, and before that he himself tried to become an American president, also came out of the same place - albeit without success. All of the above facts are well known to the progressive public of the country, which at one time even demanded that Bush Jr. and Kerry renounce their ties with the order, considering this incompatible with their high position. However, neither one nor the other reacted in any way to these demands, and indeed they always refused to say anything about "Skull and Bones".
The fate of civilization is in their hands
It is not surprising that the belonging of many influential people in America to this secret order now forces many journalists, and after them public and political figures of the United States, to express the opinion that we are dealing with a conspiracy against earthly civilization, organized by a tiny handful of puppeteers who seek to subordinate the entire course to their interests. world history. For example, the American economist Anthony Sutton, who has devoted 15 years to studying the activities of the "Grave", in his book "The Order of the Skull and Bones" reports that this organization is headed by 16 main names - the "patriarchs" of the order. They constitute its ideological and financial basis, govern the American economy and politics - and, therefore, determine the fate of our entire civilization, since there is no more powerful and influential state on the planet today than the United States.
From other competent sources, you can learn that the secret order "Skull and Bones" annually admits to its ranks only 15 new members - no more and no less. This means that no more than 800 representatives of the order live in one era, which, however, does not make it less important for the management of social processes. According to experts, 800 people are quite enough for this, if all of them occupy important leadership positions and generally always contribute to the success of their "brothers". So, in the apparatus of George W. Bush, besides himself, there were six members of the Skull and Bones Order, who were all natural-born leaders by their nature. This personality trait is considered one of the main conditions for admission to the order.
Public interest in "Bones" has always been fueled by the vow of silence that its participants take. Everything related to the order is completely classified. Its followers are forbidden to give out any information under threat … no one knows what. What exactly, none of the uninitiated knows exactly. At the same time, the vow, apparently, is very effective, since for almost 180 years of the existence of the order, no one has violated this secret, at least it has never been widely publicized, as can be seen from the scene with George W. Bush at the beginning of the article.

In the book by Yale University graduate journalist Rosenbaum, there is some information about the initiation rite that candidates undergo when joining the Skull and Bones Order. He writes about the terrible screams coming from the "Grave" during the initiation ritual. According to stories and rumors, this ceremony resembles the mystical Sabbath of witches and sorcerers during the Middle Ages. They say that to become an adherent of the Order of the Skull and Bones, you need to strip naked at night in front of all members of society, then lie down in a sarcophagus and tell everyone present about your sexual experience, about all fantasies and perversions.
The aforementioned ritual by Rosenbaum was even filmed on videotape in 2001. True, the quality of the video is low, only people in Halloween costumes are visible on it, shouting loudly and waving their hands at the person lying in the coffin. Therefore, skeptics have already stated that the film has nothing to do with the "Skull and Bones" society, but in fact it only shows an amateur performance.
If these descriptions correspond to reality, we can state that in the initiation rite of the Skull and Bones organization there are elements of the mysteries of a number of other secret organizations and societies of the Middle Ages.
We cannot but be surprised by the fact that the secret Order of the Skull and Bones still manages to maintain its closeness, being in the very center of American public and political life. And, apparently, not without reason, despite its strange rituals, this organization still has influence throughout the world.
