A man walking along a beach in Kien Jing in southern Vietnam discovered an unknown creature covered with dozens of creepy tentacles (see video below).
The mysterious ocean dweller was discovered on July 29, 2018 by Du Nam Du, a resident of Kien Jiang province. The perplexed Vietnamese could not understand what it was, and, showing miracles of courage, decided to take him home for a closer examination.
In the video demonstrating the stunning find, you can see a living dark brown creature with tentacles moving in all directions, reminiscent of some kind of alien creature from a science fiction movie.
Confused, Du Nam Du admitted that he was not sure if it was an animal or a plant. But the frightened neighbors insistently asked to return the sea monster back to the ocean.
“It's a monster. One day he will return from the ocean and will be ten times larger,”said Kim Tho.
“I don't know what it is, but it's scary,” Lin Nguyen said. "I don't want to be around him."
Experts who viewed the footage suggested that it might be some kind of seaweed, and its strange wriggling results from being exposed to air for a long time after being pulled out of the water.
